As this has sold well I'm really hoping Firefly gets the incentive to make Crusader definitive edition as that has a much better multiplayer and even more content. That should be a given but when the remasters of the first two Command and Conquers sold really well, seems EA had no incentive to then make a Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun remaster....

Stronghold itself I never played myself until I got the HD edition a few years back, I did have the standalone/expansion Stronghold Crusader, fell in love with it after I got it from a demo disk (remember those?) I am glad you found the game fun, I have nostalgia goggles so I can't really say how well it holds up. About them making more games, it feel so mean but they kinda peaked with Stronghold 1 and Crusader, the later games never really held up.

I just found out there is no skirmish mode.. For reasons explained in steam discussion section by the devs. I for one have absolutely no interest in playing a astrategy game that does not include skirmish or some sort of 'go out there and do what you want while competing with other factions' mode. I utterly hate having to play scripted linear missions for an entire game.. This is one of the reason Paradox Interactive Strategy games are slowly dominating the entire strategy domain and completely dethroned Total War.. Games like Cursader Kings 3, Hearts of Iron 4, Europa Universalis, Victoria 3, are massive grand scale strategy games that give you almost unlimited replayability and free reign on doing whatever the hell you want.
