Hanae Mori used almond with strawberry to deliberately create a vanilla scent without vanilla. It was also the first fragrance to ever have a glass cap. On my skin, it dries down to smell similar to Mont Blanc Signature - quite enjoyable.

Im a man and almond is my favorite gourmand note, by FAR. I really like the italian almond cookie, amaretto, biscotti smell. Almond harmony is so addictive to me, it smells like someone made an almond cookie out of play dough and then dusted with baby powder. Testing out Italica right now, and its even more spiced cookie, less baby powder. Will definitely be trying some of the ones in this video.

I wish I liked the almond note. Have to eat marzipan with a clothespin clipped on my nose, that’s how bad it is 😅. BTW - totally unrelated to this video but thought I’d mention that Gucci Rush is now available at Shoppers Drug Mart in stores and online 🤩. When I saw it, I immediately thought of you and believe it’s because of your YT videos that this fragrance is now available outside of the discount websites. So, thank you for that, Yana 🙏🏽. I used to wear this back in 2000-2003. It still smells the same but not as crazy beast mode as it used to be, but still really yummy and I’m so happy I have reunited with it again 🥰

Monica’s other scent, Carte Blanche, is also amazing. Assuming you’ve had your bundle of joy. Hope it’s going well. I had awful carpal tunnel while pregnant - AWFUL! It goes away. Then I had to deal with “mommy arthritis” in my thumbs/wrist. That also goes away. All in time - but it does go away. Thanks for all the insight (even though we don’t always vibe the same). It’s funny but I’m wearing my Van Cleef & Arpels Bois Doré today while watching this and I was like I’m in almond heaven haha! If you haven’t tried Bois Doré you have to 😍 it’s a slightly creamy, heavenly almond vanilla scent and I live for it. You want to give yourself a hug since you smell so good haha! It’s a cozy scent for sure.

Hi Yana! I just ate my cinnamon - chocolate coated almonds and then you came up with with this video👀😁 now talk about telepathy across the globe! Yes, I am very grateful for the tips you have given. I would suggest also Carner Barcelona Tardes, which is a floral almond + have a slight plastic feel, which fits into the whole composition perfectly. I have also grabbed Van Cleef & Arpels Oriens after 10 years of wanting it 🤦‍♀️. It has a praline note, so the almond is there and if you don't know it (is there any you don't know?), it resembles TM Angel Muse EDT. Of course Oriens was discontinued 🤦‍♀️ You have made me curious about Jul et Mad, Heeley and Navitus. And yes, I was fortunate enough to smell the Pure Eve... I started to like it more as it developed, too. It is a linear, yet elegant fragrance, I think it reminds me of Zadig & Voltaire This is us a bit. Mainly in the dry down. Simple, but effective. Even though Z&V is more cinnamon-y. Anyways. Thank you so much for your help, I will check everything what I don't own already 😁 Adriana

I wish I could attach a photo of the official card with the note breakdown. It includes South African Almonds. The website lists it as well. Additionally, once you smell the fragrance the scent of almond is prominent, you can't miss it :)
