Excellent review, Pep. I need to revisit this because I smelled it last year and I was undecided about it. Cheers!

This one has been one of my biggest disappointments in recent memory , but they do have some sensational releases. 🍀 Great to hear your thoughts on it

I could not agree more. The hype makes no sense. The scent makes no sense either.

I think its best winter and vanilla fragrance ever!

I adored it and just bought a full bottle after getting a small decant. I'm not usually into vanilla but this one and Guerlain Angelique Noire were full bottle worthy for me instantly, and I usually go for skin scents, soft and close to the body.

I have a few and sampled a few Nishanes and are enjoyable to wear. Even though they're Extract de Parfum and perform really well, they don't smell very natural to me. I wouldn't pay full retail for them. Thanks for the review Pep. Buona giornata! Campioni d'Europa! 🇮🇹💙🇮🇹

Very nice review. Your reference to the hype upon release is why we need blind sampling reviews. So much cognitive bias in most social media reviews. I like this fragrance as a light gourmand. I wear it in the summer as a daytime scent with very good longevity. I group this fragrance with Hacivat. These aren't towering intellectual achievements but they have excellent utility. I have many other fragrances for greater originality and deeper contemplation. I recommend Unutamam from this house if you want to check out something more creative and avant guard.

I love this one, esp in cooler weather. I find it a great, cozy, evening/bedtime frag. Also really like fan your flames. I did have the hype/disappointment experience you talk of with Hacivat, didn’t like that one at all, but it got massive hype.

I found the ginger was not as prominent on me as I hoped but I smelled it on a friend the other week- it was a completely different perfume! On her I got so much spicy ginger - like in a ginger biscuit- so I get your pastry reference. But on me all I got was vanilla. After smelling it on her though, I’m thinking I need to try it again.

I cackled when you rolled your eyes, saying that when a fragrance gets hyped...I really like it but I don't love it. But it is definitely a top notch non-vanilla vanilla (whatever that means).

My fav vanilla scent, because it's a fresh zesty vanilla.

Have some Nishane samples out, and Ani is one of them. Time to Spritz Ani. I do like it, but out of the 3 samples I have here, b-612, Safran Colognise, along with Ani, I will be purchasing b-612. I have a 30% off. The vanilla I will be getting is Palo Santo. It's not too much on the Santo part, but I do like my cereal perfumes. Ani is nice, and I would find it very attractive on the right person.

You are always so impressive with your way with words, Pep. Also, you are IMO, the absolute most genuine, honest perfume reviewer out there. Thank you! One day, I hope you share what you do professionally, as this educator cannot help but wonder if it involves public speaking in some way. Stephen

I smelled Ani for the first time July 2019, before all the hype I think. I loved it right away. Then I had to wait months before I could smell it again, dissapointed. I was lucky to win a bottle, and other than most people I prefer Ani in warmer weather, the combination of ginger and vanilla makes is tingling and warm at the same time

Quite good this one, not very creative though You might be interested in Sultan Vetiver, which reminded me Timbuktu but with spices on top Among a few that I've tried from Nishane for me the best one is B-612, would be interesting to hear what you think about it:)

You’re the second person I’ve heard describe this fragrance as “Candied or Crystallized Ginger” (2:30), which is a scent I’m quite familiar with. I’m usually not a huge Vanilla fan unless it’s on the warmer side such as “Black Phantom” Tobacco Vanille or Shaghaf Oud (Swiss Arabian). How would you compare this to any of those fragrances? Happy New Year!

I didn't have any expectations on this one. But I did have expectations from Zarokian. And yep, very very dissapointing- exactly, listening to you - "there is a lot of similarity". Not just with one, but with hundreds other ones. In my opinion, Vanilla cannot be creative. Period. It could be a good one or a synthetic one, but vanilla all the way doesn't develop pretty much anything. It is the most popular note, almost abused in perfumery world, therefore... I do like negative reviews as well. And I have find you way too gentle, saying just that you won't go for a bottle, that you prefer another one, and talking about some similarties with others. Let's face it! This one is a fail, a fail that goes nicely with the Vanilla flow, but it is totally uncreative and very expensive. :)

its not creative i agree but explain to me why i cant stop smelling it
@venusavenue17222 жыл бұрын
@@SPACEDOUT19 because it's like o cookie, or a very familiar scent that we all are attracted to. Vanilla equals success. But is neither creative, nor decorative 🙃It simply is familiar.

I have about 300 scents and did a blind buy and I simply HATE this scent. I have to wash it off each time I "try again" to be openminded with it. Bottom line I hate Ani and I'm going to attempt to get a full refund!!! Awful, makes me gag. Shocking but true.
