Thank you for letting us see your vision of the apocalypse. I thought it was a very good movie that actually told an involved story. It was cohesive and the walkers were splendid! The make up was well done. Continuity, something many times is a mish-mosh in novice movies, was well planned and helped the movie to move nicely from point A to B, etc. .

@Simon Jesuit WOW! Thanks Simon! I try hard to make those zombies look as good as I can (not having any formal training and all...) I'm a big one on continuity and making sure things try to make sense. The very first scene of the show is probably a little confusing for some b/c it is purposely out of continuity; especially when you see the end of Act 1. However if they continue watching the series, it will all come full circle eventually and make sense. Comments like yours really drive me to do more for you guys. Couldn't stand that one actor (from Road Trip) that was only the radio line at the beginning and end... But yea the Stalker is my take on a new type of zombie that inhabits the Dead Nightmare zombie world.

So far I can say again I really admired it as a type of project I've been daydreaming of. I was positively entertained for what it was. I felt like my immersion into the story / scenes happened naturally, so you seem to be doing something right! I'll have more to say as I watch the rest. I remember a few times where I was thinking to myself as somebody who would love to be involved in this sort of project, "NICE choice!" :)

One thing that has been overdone in zombie apocalypse movies is the search for food. It's pretty basic. It would be nice to see some movies explore other needs, as many people depend on very specific stuff (insulin, opiates, medication of all sorts, even specific glasses) and even though we take all that for granted, it would be quite a struggle to searh for that in a destroyed world. Could open many plot possibilities and introduce original situations.

Your idea is awesome. As one with chronic illnesses and the constant need of medication, I totally agree with you. But the search for food normally would be the first problem to solve in an apocalyptic world. Without that, you wouldn't even have to bother searching for meds. So it should be both a part in a "realistic" story, shouldn't it?

It depends. Can you imagine a person with cancer withdrawing from morphine need? I garantee you that "food" is the last thing on her mind. In fact she would *only* be able to eat *after* having her fix, otherwise she would throw up anything that she ate. But yeah, i agree that in a *general way* the search for food would still be number one. That's why my idea was already an "out of the box" plot introduction, so new possibilities could be introduced and not repeat the same plot done a million times :-) Thanks for the reply.

DAMN FINE WORK !! This was better then 95% of the zombie movies out there . the editing was brilliant . zombies looked great , great camera work , the acting was decent , the sound is the key (i think) from the actors mics to the drones & build ups ......... one of my dreams : i make music and i always wanted to modernize the entire audio in the original dawn of the dead and use build ups and drone and change out that 70's sound . then drop the new version online hehe (torrents/demonoid ) . throw some of my tracks in the action scenes . but the only thing im up against is removing their music from the back ground when the actor's speak . im sure there's a way with izotope rx but im not versed in that software at all . but maybe i will find someone that loves this idea and wants to roll on it with me . anyway , subbed , great stuff here XD

For now we'll have fun with this, but future projects I will be looking for some outside talent. We actually do full scripts & screenplay; however due to everyones hectic schedules, most don't start reading & studying the script until a week or two before we shoot. A major miss, but it's hard for me to ask ore out of them. But there's always room for improvement & I can promise you that I strive for it. Thank you, I really enjoyed this movie! Liked and subbed. I love the characters, they were more relatable than some characters in zombie movies. The scenes at 38:50 and 46:26 were especially golden -- they highlighted the stark contrast between the world of before, and the world after; and they made me care even more about what will happen to these survivors. The weird thing about Hollywood these days, is how they assume that someone like me (a brown woman) can't relate to characters who are white men; but that's just ridiculous. What draws me into a character has nothing to do with peripherals like color or gender. What matters is good writing and good acting, and this movie has both. 👍🏽 Edit: Oh! And of course, good photography and makeup and settings. I forgot to mention this. When it really works, it becomes so much a natural part of the film, it's easy for non-cinematographers like me to forget how much planning and work goes into making this world feel real.

I loved hearing your thoughts about the characters and the way Hollywood and others assume their audience must have certain color, females, etc. honestly I used my peeps that were the most excited to play the parts. And even as the episodes move on, I have white friends, black friends, and even new female characters... for no more reason that they heard about the project and we’re excited to join. Their enthusiasm and comments like yours are what help drive me and this project. Although extreme low budget & my first real series; I still feel like we’ve created something fun and unique for our viewers. And hell, just a tremendous achievement for an amateur such as myself. you know, what I found amazing is the very thing that would actually happen in real life. Everyone is told that they should lock and bar their homes, and stay inside. And what do they do? These dumb asses go outside, in the dark, without turning on outside lights, and leaving their front doors wide open! But I can really see that happening. People have no common sense, and no sense of their own mortality. Plus these guys don't live in my neighborhood! This was a good film, easy to watch, with good story telling.

ive been around dead people and they dont decompose that quickly or turn so blue in just a night. The reason why the zombie epidemic was so effective in the start was how lively looking the freshly killed zombies were, causing family or friends to not take precautions when being approached by the fresh zombies.

Zombies have been repeated and repeated again and again, so it's important to change things up a bit from time to time. It's possible in this world some of the already dead & decaying manage to reanimate... as opposed to only freshly killed/bitten peeps. Or more likely I just got make-up crazy in this first production & didn't expect it to turn into a series... ; )

like I always say... every effort deserve a reward.. and I know how hard it is to film zombies for hours under the bright sun and the dark night..maybe some of the scenes where hard to make sit down for hours making the effects but is much better that a lot of films I seen in the internet..maybe the acting needs a bit of work but hey.. they worked this...I know how it is, Im filming a zombie series here in Puerto Rico and I got people from Spain, Mexico, Dom Republic filming in their country together with me and is a lot of effort but we got what we want to see..that would be good to have ya"ll get together with us to make more. but hey ya'll did a good job !

Alexander Gaus as long as you have decent light, you could shoot on an iPhone. It’s when light diminishes evening/night time that the quality goes straight to crap. As for sound... it would just be ok. Now the audio recorder app in the iPhone actually is really good. Problem is I don’t thin u can run the recorder app and take a video at the same time... Worth a test. Maybe tell ur wife this is your passion or could be and express u need some time to devote to the project. She should support your passion.

So far the story line is good I like it. There a few things I would personally do different but very good. My advice would be to improve the acting but mostly when it come to dialogue. I liked the cinematography and the special effects. They were good for what you had to work with. For the most part you kept the scenes flowing and you kept your characters in motion well done. There were a few small things but I think you will work that out in time. good job look forward to see what you guys come up with next

THANKS J! Thanks so much for the comment. Yea the dialogue & acting are being worked on as we speak :) I think peeps would be pretty amazed to see how small this production really is; and to see the final product turn out fairly decent. Can't wait to hear what you think about the more recent episodes!

ZMAM Show I been writing in the zombie apocalypse world for a long time. It is amazing what you’ve done for what the resources you have. That episode six I think was your best work yet. definitely positive changes a lot from the first couple of episodes. I discovered you guys last night and all the shows.
