He's won the team belt now - he's had a solid year, that Oyama match aside. Just because we expect it of him, doesn't mean he isn't up there.

This thread is fantastic. And yeah, I think if Bibbs goes 3 for 3 at spectacular the hype on that last match would be like nothing we've ever seen before. If/when he answers that 5 pointer to seal a 3-win night and slap another belt on his shoulder the audience might literally explode. He would launch into god status just as a fact of circumstance.

If Brendan Meyer took a little more time, he would have gotten it and they would have won with just a three point question. Point is, if Drew McWeeney uses a repeat and takes more time, and Brendan thinks before answering, the result would have been the same. But that’s just how it went

To think, I had a bit of optimism but a large amount of apprehension about Bibbs and Whitney parting ways and Bibbs teaming up with Brendan. Brendan has not ceased continuing to impress me this year though, and even before they first played, I knew I was gonna love Shazam! Any apprehension that was there, however, is entirely gone, and I only have optimism for this team! They're so great together, and they're gonna give the Founding Fathers a damn good match! Honestly, no matter who wins in that championship match, I'm happy. Just seeing them play one more time before the year ends (and Rocha and Murrell playing together one more time before the year ends as well) is enough for me, and I think that this is the only team that isn't named Who's The Boss that the Founding Fathers wouldn't mind handing the belts off too should it come to that. I mean, let's face it, the Rocha/Bibbiani feud has been over for some time now, and I just know they respect these two. It's gonna be a great teams match to watch!

Anyone else find it weird that in round 3, Kristian asked "Who played Steve Jobs in the movie Jobs?" , and I know the written text says in the movie "Steve Jobs", but Kristian clearly said "Jobs" and not "Steve Jobs". And that would be Ashton Kutcher, not Fassbender. Although 2015 is the release year of Steve Jobs, not Jobs. So yeah, seems to be a mistake on Kristian's side.
