@@sivad1025 "Perfect round" is hitting all 8 questions in round 1. One could say "Tom has had 4 straight perfect rounds, and has only missed 1 of the bonus questions" - it's a separate thing. Notice how the "perfect round"-graphic shows up after hitting his 8th question, NOT after the bonus question. But yeah, it's a bit confusing, because sometimes they use "perfect round" for "8 points + bonus", too.

Hot damn, I love the Schmoedown. This teams tournament has been the absolute best, most thrilling, interesting tournament of them all. I can't wait to see how it ends. My thought to preserve the Loony Bin -- make Video Drew the 10th Manager! She proved she knows when and how to challenge questions, she CLEARLY has her players' interest in mind, and it would make for some of the most entertaining, unpredictable matches.

Even if there is a video game that came out in the same year and had a similar title, the fact is that it was a video game, not a movie. I thought that was a really tough question because I too was fixated on Resident Evil: Revelations but as soon as they repeated the question I thought, "wait that's a game and not a movie," before remembering that Silent Hill had a movie franchise too.

Wow what a match! This was high caliber stuff, I'm quite impressed with how well Looney Bin has done in the tournament. They were going toe to toe with Shazam throughout the match here and Tom looks nothing short of unstoppable. It seemed like the real difference maker today was something that seems to happen often to high knowledge players like Tom and Ethan when first entering the league, which is just answering a bit too quickly/a bit too much confidence. It's really impressive the way he's able to do it for most questions, but it seemed like with that huge steal that resulted in a 4 point swing, that Tom and Video drew weren't too sure about their answer but they went for it instead of going to multiple choice in that situation. Same sort of thing at the end there with the 5 pointer, they may have benefited from taking a second to breath and just using their last JTE rule. Maybe they just didn't know it, but Tom seemed to answer fairly quickly with some confidence when maybe they should've taken some more time to confer on that one. Nonetheless though, these are just rookie mistakes and this run was more than anyone expected from these guys. Next year Tom will have a manager and a bit more experience, at which point we're looking at another wrecking ball of a player who can do some serious damage. It's kind of insane just how many of these players we seem to have where it's absolutely shocking if they miss even 1 question. Should also be very interesting seeing what happens with Tom in the draft next year. Video drew is a solid partner, but i can't help but wonder what it might look like if Tom is paired up with someone like Tim Franco for example. That's a team that might have a shot of taking the belts next year. As for Shazam, they're looking really good! I've got them taking the whole tournament and now they're really within arms reach of that and have looked unstoppable getting here. My predicted finals matchup of Shazam vs The Family is looking pretty good right now, but whether it's them or WTB, we're looking at an absolute battle of the heavy weights and i'm super excited to see it. Oh and that cut scene with Ken was epic. Loved how they brought in every bit of history with Ken being passed up for the commissionership (i always thought he was the obvious choice at the time), and bringing in the real world Collider vs SEN stuff ahah. And pretty badass that Kristian is throwing Ken out of managing like that, didn't see that coming at all. I wonder who will draft him! Will Grace draft Ken, or pass up on him? And will he return to the SW league, or/and maybe try to make another teams run?

Man, Brendan never fails to impress me. He has some amazing knowledge, especially regarding Oscar Movies as he proved today. I loved seeing how energetic and prepared he was on most of those questions. That said, I have to be honest, I absolutely LOVE both these teams. They're so much fun! Spoilers: Sad to see Loony Bin go. Again, I love both these teams. I was a bit torn on who to root for, but I really love Shazam: their personalities, their entrances, just how fun William and Brendan are in general! I do hope Tom goes into singles next season though! He definitely has the strong knowledge for it!

But in the past couple matches, Bibbs and Kid have just been super energetic and enthusiastic about doing well. It is completely understandable Tom dropping that Silent Hill: Revelation question when you consider 1) Resident Evil has a game in its series called Resident Evil: Revelations and 2) The first game in the Revelations series came out in 2012. If you conflated the video game and the date with the film series, it is easy to see how you could mis-remember Revelations as a movie and Silent Hill: Revelation is absolutely awful.

If Tom gets split from Video Drew and gets a partner who can hold their own, he's going to be undefeated the entirety of next season. Most knowledgeable player in the league. No manager should keep Loony Bin together, there's NO reason. Even with Drew, he's so good that he always comes within a hair of winning. You partner him with someone like Lon, who also needs a good partner, forget it, it's a wrap.

It depends on how Bateman and Oyama do. Currently, Bibbs and Bateman have near identical records. Only 1 loss per division each. If Who's the Boss beats Shazam and Bateman bests Bibbs in the singles finals, I think he has a good claim. But if Oyama retains the title, he'll be 7-0 and will have the longest singles streak of all time. That's also hard to argue with
