My Personal Favorites: (To preface I have not kept up much this season so I don't know much about the rookies) Singles: Most Entertaining: Ghai Most Knowledgeable: Erwin or Bibbs Most Underrated: Mark Ellis (Better Accuracy in singles than: Snieder, Harloff, Jeannine, Kalinowski, JTE, and many more) Best Overall Singles Player: Murrel Teams: Most Entertaining Team: Team Action Most Knowledgeable Team: Evil Geniuses (They complimented each other better than any team ever) Most Underrated: Top That (Played 5 matches and Better accuracy than: Patriots, Top 10, Team Action, Schmoes, The Harris Bros, and many more) Best Overall Team: Above The Line IG: Most Entertaining: Jay Washington Most Knowledgable: idk it feels like they all know it all. Most Underrated: Jermey Jhans (People seem to forget about him because he does not play anymore but he was very good) Best IG player: Inman Schmoedown: Most Influential player: Rocha by a mile GOAT: Sam Levine (This guy won Player of the year even tho he didn't play for half of it...what a legend) I would like to recognize 2 people that some how some how make by lists above: Rachel Cushing: Is an absolute superstar in the schmoedown and I think is probably second in line for the GOAT Tom Dagnino: The only person I would consider a schmoedown legend that isnt a real competitor, like all the other legends of the schmoedown have something to do with skill and there accomplishments, Tom is the only manager I would consider a schmoedown Legend.

This is like the perfect storm. Ben and Mike bringing all the emotion to the table and some excellent points and facts to spice up the conversation. While Kristian is doing an excellent job moderating the conversation; bringing it back here and there, setting the stage for a new direction the conversation is taking, etc. Everyone brought his A-Game and that's what made this a pleasure to listen to! :-)

Some of the best I’ve ever seen are the first New York Live Show, that’s what got me back in after a year or so of not watching, another is this year’s Free-For-All, you’ll never see a more impressive showing than Bibbiani in that match. Kalinowski is one of the best players in Schmoedown history. He’s got the character both baby face and heel, he plays a fantastic game almost every time out, He has the accolades, etc. def top 5…. 1. Rachel Cushing 2. Dan Murrell 3. Samm Levine 4. Mike Kalinowski 5. William Bibbiani (His knowledge, stats and showmanship get him here, idc if he couldn’t defend the singles title or played in InnerGeekdom) 6. John Rocha 7. Jeff Sneider 8. Clarke Wolfe 9. Marc Andreyko 10. Mark Reilly 11. Paul Oyima 12. Ethan Erwin 13. Adam Collins 14. Ben Bateman 15. Kevin Smets

If/and when I want to introduce somebody to the Schmoedown I go: Double Toasted vs Reel Rejects or Wolves of Steel vs Above the Line. Of course Bibs vs Andreyko is a classic!
@jmaice836165 жыл бұрын
I agree with kalinowski. I think I'll question should be white boarded that way there is no confusing with the person is trying to say. you can't just expect all of the players to wait and say exactly what they mean to say. It's a lot different into the white-hot lights as all of the competitors have basically said. Sometimes you second-guess yourself or have a little slip-up because you are nervous under The lights.
@ThaFiveStarBoss5 жыл бұрын
My rankings for the draft. 1. M. Kalinowski (triple treat) 2. D. Murrell 3. W. Bibbiani 4. J. Rocha 5. P. Oyama (he falls under Rocha because of availability) 6. E. Erwin (availability brings him lower, but he’s a top 3 player) 7. B. Bateman 8. D. McWeeny (higher bc of accuracy) 9. C. Ellison (again availability, but joining IG this year) 10. B. Meyer 11. K. Smets (goes to 8. If he wins the belt) 12. M. Andreyko 13. J. Sneider (I don’t think the love for the Schmoedown last if he gets separated from andreyko. He walks away this year and doesn’t play in singles again) 14. L. Harris 15. P. Preston (very accurate) 16. M. Knopic (emotional. Might walk away again after tough loss) 17. E. Zipper (his accuracy is actually high and deserves a chance and is in S/T/IG) 18. T. Franco (availability low, but very accurate) 19. M. Reilly (without Bateman I don’t see him playing all too much) 20. A. Damon (yes he’s a champion. But only plays 4/5 times a year)

This show is amazing! It also has me thinking Kalinowski Rule: Competitors are only allowed to choose a category twice in a row. If chosen twice in a row competitors must wait two match before being able to choose category again. Competitors are allowed to choose a category every other match. For example. If Mike takes Bond in the first round of a tournament he can still choose bond for the 3rd round and the finals. But that means he can’t choose bond for the championship. But if Mike chose Bond on the First, and Third round. That means if he wins the tournament he’s allowed to use it in the championship. Does anyone agree?
@carlostalavera90305 жыл бұрын
I do like that rule. Maybe also adding a Championship Rule pf always having Mixed Bag.

I disagree that Mike is the stronger part of Koruption. Elision has the highest accuracy out of all the currently competing people in the schmoedown singles(2nd of all time benind Rachel) He has a 15.07% higher accuracy rating than mike in singles. 15% is a crazy high diffrence in the schmoedown
@ThaFiveStarBoss5 жыл бұрын
True. But Mike has played in 13 matches where Chance has only played in 5
@sivad10255 жыл бұрын
Mike has outplayed Chance in almost every single team's match. They're arguably equal players in my mind. That's what makes them great teammates
@leobergmiller8735 жыл бұрын
I think if Bibs wins all 3 matches at spectacular, the rushmore is cemented. Murrell, Cushing, Levine, and Bibbiani. I think the losest pick there is Levine because before his historic run he didn’t really have much to show for, and his accuracy is far worse than any of those other 3 in singles which was his primary league in some respects.
@ajl97725 жыл бұрын
I think McWeeny has the more impressive resume for teams personally. His stats on ATL were ridiculously good. No one has played as well as he did during that run. He has only lost 2 matches in his entirety of teams to date. He set the points record with one team and tied it with another. I get Sneider won all the title matches, but look at the luck and controversy that kept that win streak alive.
@Kratosx235 жыл бұрын
Murrell is above Rachel. You can't be the GOAT if you've never won the singles title. That's the crown jewel. It's you, by yourself, no teammate, no complimentary knowledge, and it's much broader than IG. The idea that you can't be the best ever if you've never played an IG game is absurd. IG is nothing but studying 10 or so categories relentlessly, that's why Mike is so much better in IG than he is in singles and teams, because if you have the time, there's nothing to it, exactly like Bateman said on an earlier show. It's just not that impressive comparatively. To be the best in the singles league, movies have to be your life. Murrell is a 3 time singles champion, now a team champion, beat the team that beat The Shirewolves (and Korruption in the process of that match set the all time scoring record in teams) in their final match, defeated Rocha and Reilly in a triple threat match and then immediately afterwards defended the belt successfully against Samm, who Rachel has never beaten. He's won the Free 4 All, defeating Bibbs during the all time performance that Bibbs put in (and he didn't come in last, he was there for a while), he's defeated Ethan Erwin at his peak, he defended the belt against Bibbs by TKO, he's one of the few people who've had a perfect game in singles, he's the only singles champion other than Samm to defend the belt more than once, and he's defended it the most times. He's undefeated in live events. His resume is unprecedented. Murrell is the GOAT, Samm is 2, Rachel is 3. On another note, this show is my new addiction.

I think that if you’re facing a champion or a knowledgeable player, there must be some respect there when you play them because you know what they can do and you need to prepare for them. As a player, not respecting other players, to me, is disrespectful to them because of the effort that they put into competing.

Dan is clearly the best of all time. Not competing in in nergeekdom is irrelevant. Mike is ridiculous
@sivad10255 жыл бұрын
Mike is without a doubt the best player. I like what Ben said about Stats/Story/Accomplishments. Imo, to be the best, you have to have held belts in two divisions which limits it to Mike, Rachel, Rocha, Dan and Levine (and sorta Kristian). For stats, you guys can talk accuracy rates, wins, losses and knockouts. But those are meaningless. The stats that matter are how the players do in each round. Rachel knows more IG trivia than Mike, but he plays the final three rounds of a title match much better than Rachel. His expected value is 27 points in a title match, compared to Rachel's 22. Believe it or not, Korruption is the best team and FF is second. Korruption is expected to get 31.99 points compared to FF's 31.87. And this is largely due to the fact that they have never missed a 5 pointer. Mike is an incredible final round player (and generally a good round 2 player depending on the category). Even in Singles. Crazy thing is, Dan has never correctly answered a 5 pointer in the past two seasons. Even in teams, Rocha allegedly has answered all of their 5 pointers. All that to say, even if Mike doesn't have the general knowledge, he pulls the answers when they matter most (even using incredibly good guessing strategies). It's a misrepresentation of his play to say he doesn't have the stats

That Challenge Smets had against Chandru Dhandapani was bullshit!!!! Some of the biggest bullshit in Schmiedown history! Chandru had not given his final answer!!! So many time competitors have said one thing on accident and meant to say something else and in a split second changed their answer. You NEED to ask, Is that your final answer?" I know it's a Who Wants to be a Millionaire thing, but still it keeps things fair and honest.
@EefjeXD5 жыл бұрын
My Spectacular predictions: 1. Ben beats Bibbs, because Bibbs will be exhausted after his elaborate entrance and all the standing. 2. The Founding Fathers will not defend against whoever they play, because Rocha can't defend belts for the life of him. 3. Kelly beats Damon, because Damon has to lose at some point right? Right? RIGHT?! 4. Smets beats Kalinowski, but don't tell Peter or Mike that I said that. 5. Finally, Ben defeats Oyama, because of his beard and because nobody wants to see Oyama win except Kaiser and Zipper. And the 10th manager will be revealed to be... John Campea!
@angelikussnape5 жыл бұрын
Eva2405 I dunno about number 2 because Dan has defended a belt every time he won it. So, I guess we’ll see...
@sivad10255 жыл бұрын
The Founding Fathers are playing lights out though. They're expected to get 32 points in a five round game. For reference, Whos the Boss expects 28 and Odd Couple expects 27. Their only losses have been to Korruption and both of those matches ended with over 60 points collectively. Another thing, Founding Fathers has yet to miss a five pointer and all these close matches are seemingly dependent on that last question.
