+schmoesknow I don't mean to offend, and I think you guys have a really smart show that I love to podcast. It just feels like you get really intense and competitive with the Schmoe Down and it takes some of the fun out of it. You come in doing intense characters like Vader and the Rock, while Mark comes in as the Noid and with the greatest bald cap of all time. I just happen to prefer the silly, light-hearted humor. Just my opinion.

B Terrible Studio First of all, it's not like she knows her modern movies that much either (that's not counting the big-budget, always-on-the-news stuff), but having knowledge of cinema history/different genres is crucial, especially if you're working on a channel that's all about movies. Then again, that's never really been a prerequisite for these bigger youtube movie channels, so...

I agree with that logic- people who talk movies professionally should know more than the average person- she does. It would take more than a lifetime to watch EVERY movie that came out; even in the last 10 years... especially when u work for a living. I totally reject the idea that she got the gig cuz "she must be fucking Kristian" which comes up a lot. I have no clue about that but they have addressed it at least a few times on the show and it seems ridiculous. She could be great at writing, audio engineering, booking guests, events, and marketing, and a lot of other things behind the scenes, that make her an asset and a great producer; but because she is a woman; people are critical, and because she's a babe- even more so. No beef here; i just think that it is disrespectful to marginalize her talent as a producer because of her perceived lack of movie knowledge- thats not what producers do.
