Woowww now that was an absolute nail biter! Extremely well played match by both competitors. Chance came up clutch today with that 5. He was locked in from the word go and played extremely well today. This is the guy we've seen have a meteoric rise in teams. Tough one for the kid today. He still played well overall and got a huge pull with the 5. That said, Rushing to answers every now and again is still the one wrinkle in his game he's got to iron out; it cost him the mark rilance question, and at least one other question. He'll bounce back for sure.

But you explain the rules of Round Three at the beginning of the round, so new people are fully aware of how many questions and what point values are in play. Same pet peeve when NFL announcers tell the audience "It's 24-19 with two minutes left, they're going to need a touchdown to win." Yes, we know: 5 is more than 3. I'd simply remove the three point question in these situations like you do when you don't ask additional questions in Round 3 (or Round 2 on a bad day) when competitors are mathematically eliminated. Save every question you can... writers are working too hard to waste a question that has no bearing on the final outcome. It actually makes sense to tell new people about possible KO's since if they've never seen a Round 3, they'd not know that Round 3 was unnecessary if a competitor will end up 11+ points down after Round 2. Anyways, looking forward to more of the season!
