Raptors fan here. I remember watching him when we first drafted him. It was a blow out game against the knicks and i remember watching this undersized unit of a dude just out work amare stoudamire tirelessly. Knew he was a tough dude then and was a hardwr worker than bargnani . Super happy teams noticed him tooo and rly carved out a solid career for himself

Finding KZbin videos of prospects were hard and then right before playoff he just left. His second stint with raptors may have helped us with the building blocks of “many do-it-all guys with overlapping skills” today. I am incredibly happy for him and all that he has accomplished

There’s a long line of players like PJ that are key pieces of a Championship caliber team, usually 3 and D guys. I.E. Bruce Bowen, Shane Battier, Raja Bell etc. You need these guys to slow down and effect your Kobe/Lebron/MJ/KDs. Juggernauts on offense need counterparts on D. What an under appreciated role and PJ is a legend for it.

Tucker doesn't get enough credit for helping install the Raptors hard-nosed culture. He wasn't on the team for a long time but no one embodies the got it out the mud identity of the team. Kyle is the archetype, Demar the idol, Norm the product, Fred and Pascal the protégés of the system, but Tucker has a place in that legacy too.
