A very kind, generous gesture by Sir Tom Hunter to bring Alex home to the country he loved. A mark of Sir Tom’s humanity and also a sign that despite political differences, respect and kindness always prevail. I hope the country can unite to pay respects to a fellow Scot. Whilst we all have our views on the future of our country, we can all agree to honour those who love their homeland.

That young guy was under pressure and did well to avoid a catastrophic dropping of the coffin. They should have extended the coffin trolley up to the same level of the hearse rails. Betrayed just like Wallace was by those he thought he could trust; fitted up on false charges of sexual misconduct where some witnesses were enticed for promotion to make up stories to smear him because the woman he taught and mentored feared his return as Scotland's most talented politician of centuries and she knew he would lead Scotland again and did all she could to destroy him, even try to jail him uncaring of the lies stress and harm to Alex's health, which, finally, still in litigation pressure to clear his name, we lost a GREAT LEADER BETRAYED by the party he brought to life.
