Listen. Marketers can market for everyone. There isn’t anyone that doesn’t need a marketer. Unless you’re a tax company. Everyone has to do it. They’ll find it themselves.

CNA (Certified Nurse Aid) is another huge trap. Ode work and responsibility for like 15-19$ in Nj while minimum wage like 14$

I guess it also depends where you live. I live in San Francisco and with Covid crisis pay, got a job immediately after the program for $35/hr. But regular pay is ~$22 which is not feasible by any means in the city

I’m from Australia and lemme tell you. A 16 year old makes more than that an hour. That’s messed up.

I get paid well for a newer CNA. I get $25 an hour and 26 on weekends and get another 20 for picking up shifts. But considering how shitty and under staffed my job is, no would come if they paid below that 🤣.

I'm an early childhood teacher and I'm so done. Currently looking into working into a funeral home cause I'm that desperate to do anything but this. I will never be a teacher again. I will miss the kids but not the people in the industry.

14:12 Yeah another reason why being alive back in the day was so much better than nowadays because you could make it by with a diploma and whatever you took nowadays you need the masters are hired to be looked at or considered for a competitive career

Well, when every parent convinced their kids to go to college it became over saturated. Now everyone has a degree which makes it ordinary and average. Same will happen with the master’s degree. Every student will start getting master’s degrees which make it even harder to get a beginning job in whatever specific industry students want to work in.

When I worked in retail, a pair of Devry recruiters walked into my store (we sell office supplies) to inquire about job openings for their students and alumni. I told them that we're always hiring around the region and that they can apply online or through paper application at any store. They asked for 5 so I gave them 5 copies. When they left, I wondered why would they need them for alumni? Does Devry offer management jobs for retail? It didn't occur to me until a week later when I saw their TV ad and it states that "Our graduates are guaranteed with a job after graduation!" I thought holy shit what a bait and switch scam.

Isn’t Devry an online college at first?
@forever_seeking

I went to a school similar to devry and they actually had a team that helped you find a job while in school and post graduation. They'd have retail listing as well and would help you build your resume and give pointers to help you during interviews as well.
