Hey coach i wanna ask, in your opinion does listening to music when aim training break your concentration? Or it doesnt really bother you that much?
@Coach_Shotty2 ай бұрын
Thats a good topic for me to talk about in a video! My opinion on it is it can disturb a bit but i think its better to aim train with some distractions because its more accurate to a real match because in a real game you wont have 100% focus. Also there have been studies that show if you study while listening to music, if you listen to that same music it helps you remember the material and i believe this applies to aim training and thats also why i think you should have a "try hard" playlist because it can help you get in the zone

1:46 i mean, theres no such thing as muscle memory... its your brain that remembers how you should move your hand at a certain target(im not a professional, but thats what pro aimers and aim coaches say generally) other than that, great video and tips!

whats ur rank/tracker, a gold can say this or a immo i dont know and i'd like confirmation.
@Coach_Shotty4 ай бұрын
I don’t play valorant as a main game I mostly just play fps games in general. My last rank when I played was d3, my highest was immo1 at that start of the game when the top rank was “Valorant” lol. But I am a Masters peak Voltaic benchmark player if you know what that is.
@aehxu4 ай бұрын
@@Coach_Shotty yeah i know voltaic, i see thanks for ur answer. Could you link me the voltaic link where u can play the playlist for the rank u were talking about
@Coach_Shotty4 ай бұрын
Yeah no problem! I know some people care about ranks and things like that so I hope that cleared everything up. I dont know if i can send links like this but if you go to my first ever video in the description it has a link to "kovaaks benchmarks", That the one I use.

What’s your in game sensitivity and dpi 😅
@Coach_Shotty4 ай бұрын
Right now it’s a .10 with a 1600 dpi but I change it a lot. I stay in a range of .10 to .22
@z7zeref4 ай бұрын
i have 1600 dpi and a normal mouse pad(small) what should be the optimal range of sensi
@Coach_Shotty4 ай бұрын
On valorant a .10 - .20 is a good range on that dpi
@Coach_Shotty4 ай бұрын
Maybe even a bit faster since you have a small mouse pad
@z7zeref4 ай бұрын
@@Coach_Shotty any ideal range i use .185 i used to have .245 but i saw in a video u should be able to do 180°? i can't do 90 lol
@z7zeref4 ай бұрын
@@Coach_Shotty hmm .20 ill use that
@Coach_Shotty4 ай бұрын
@z7zeref in valorant it doesn’t matter as much but if you can’t do a 180 with that sens you should probably look to invest in a larger mousepad if possible. I’ll make a mousepad video in the future

for some reason when I try to aim my peripheral vision becomes blurry and the enemy head disappears, anyone with this problem? (And maybe a solution)
@Coach_Shotty4 ай бұрын
I used to have this problem too. it’s basically due a lack of practice with your peripheral vision and too much tunnel visioning. Check out my “where to look simplified” video it tells you about how to train it and in the description of that video there are some tools you can use

Funny enough I used to be what I considered pretty good back then but I got stuck around 200-220 ms with the rare 180 but now I consistently score 160 and lower

As a beginner, don’t bother using aim trainers. Like he said, it’ll just turn you into a turret. Movement s far too important. Probably 40% of aim, then passive aim is 40% then active probably 20. I stopped using aim trainers after two days of playing val and just focused on the other aspects and im way better with my active aim improving overtime while I trained the others.
@hester54024 ай бұрын
bro theres no real tips u just need to play more to learn cant learn before realizing why i need this when to to do etc just play more and think why died dont blame everything on aim positioning movement and everything is equally important and can win you rounds alot . If u expect to stand in the middle of nowhere and one tap 5 guys thats just throwing and might only work 1/5 times
@Coach_Shotty4 ай бұрын
I agree that tips to make up for not putting enough time into a game but lots of people enjoy tips and think of it as an easily digestible way to learn something new. Also as for what you said at the end of your message, You should watch tip 4 I think we agree lol.
