I focused on it for like 2 months and it created a big plateau in my improvement. I think this kind of stuff is important, but its important to mention that you should not overthink it. Overthinking the mechanical parts of aiming especially ingame can lead to obsessing over it and its not good. ingame you should not think too much about how you hold your mouse and this kind of stuff. About the friction stuff, I don't necessarily agree. Imo the friction of your setup is a personal thing/ depends on the games you play, accept for the initial friction that should optimally not exist for good micro movements. However, you should hold your button lightly regardless to not tense your grip and create a feeling of gripping your mouse lightly.

That’s a whole other thing about implicit practice and non implicit practice, a whole other topic for a much more complicated video, ironically on the topic of not overthinking.

not worth it. Keep learning. There are examples such as legendary player Toxjq who was the best in the world and is still among the best aimers but there is no reason to change anything to what he uses.

Technically wouldn't friction be needed for flicking, and shouldn't it be natural for your fingers to naturally adapt your tension accordingly to your actions?

@@mahdi-ev9ye there’s a million different mouse grips out there, idrc what you call your exact grip, I’ve seen people call claws palms and vice versa. Whatever you call your grip, if your fingers cannot influence your mouse movements, it is making aiming harder.

small mice are superior. The smaller, the better. large mice add fake stability by forcing your fingers and/or other parts of your hands to be in a uniform position all the time. At the same time large mice limit your movement and fine motor skills through the same mechanic. Get a small mouse with a modern sensor. if you already have one, keep it.

Well ya, if you're gonna play a game that has dev supported aim bot, and you opt in to using a literal dev supported aim bot, you don't need any skill to be able to aim. Idk why that would even be a question. My channel is intended for people who either choose to suffer through other people using dev supported cheats or play games that require actual aim skill.
