Pistol whip and golf + are absolutely amazing on Q3. If you’re on the fence over q3, I highly recommend it. Been playing with vr for 10 years with multiple headsets from the very first DK1. This thing is next level IMO.

GRID legends has not been upgraded yet(and may never be), but you can run it at 90hz and 125% native res now and it runs great. Even 120hz would run fine with only the player's car.

They are two different headsets. Don't let just reviews gloss what pro can also do. Member although meta quest 3 has a new cpu but lower ram vs pro that has 12gb of ram.

@@saltmaker5353 To normal consumers sure. Once you understand that both headsets have their pros and con's. As mentioned you may have a higher CPU processor but lacks the ram. Also the build quality is noticeable between them both. I was going for the quest 3 but, In the end I decided that pro is best for my situation. That means not as in budget, but the usage wise i.e not really caring for the MR experience . With every tech old or newer there is always a trade off. Also when your in Canada prices aren't as great as in the U.S it's doubled, so although meta quest 3 might make more sense, once you've added the attachments for comfort, battery life it comes up to the same price almost.

I've become what I call a VR snob. Once I got immersed in VR gaming, I couldn't enjoy flat screen gaming anymore. I was hesitant to play VR at first because of the cost and intimidating set up. The Quest 2 was a game changer for VR because of its affordability and ease of use. Edit: One unfortunate aspect of VR is that it causes some people to become dizzy or nauseous. Approximately half of the people I know who played VR felt sick from it. My cousin whom I play with quite regularly has to play with a full stomach, take Dramamine each play session and wear anti-nausea wrist bands so that he doesn't feel too sick. He says that he feels like he is acclimating to VR and thinks that eventually he won't need any of the mentioned things to play VR. I hope so. We both love VR gaming!!

anyone have any tips on how to get the passthrough to look clear mine just looks all grainy and warped? is the magic fix open windows and lots of bright light bulbs?

With a well lit room it should be minimal and the warp only when things get close

I believe the quest pro runs a overclocked version of the same processor that is in the quest 2, the new processor in the quest 3 is a massive upgrade over what was in the 2 so it's doubtful quest pro would be able to handle the updated visuals for quest 3

No. CPU on quest 3 is different/ upgraded. Pro uses quest 2 CPU just bit just a bit faster. Actualy the resolution of the pro is a tad less than the Quest 2

sorry, cant help it.. its not that its bad by any means, but theres world between pcvr and what iam seeing here. i get that its enough for most people, since having everything in real 3d carrys most of the weight, but that keeps development of pcvr in the enthusiast sector because thats the only still alive for people that look at this and dont wanna go back to ps3 graphics. we should all demand more, to get more. i mean, think about it: the quest 3 has a wired option for connecting it to a pc.. whats the reason that it does have to have compression and not use display port via usb c? its intentional, to not give you the best option possible in order not lose sales to steam or other software dealers other then meta. and thats the problem atm. its leaving out possibilities to keep as much as possible in the own eco system and save money on licences that only 20% of the userbase would actually use..

I like your channel , but this think is being overhyped ..I have one lenses are a nice upgrade. Thats it for now , the older quest thas a smaller fov and its not as comfortable as the newer one . most games look the same because they are not updated. And Redmater 2 looks almost identical to psvr2 , but thise in that team are wizards ..So unless they make another game forget it.

Funny thing: After analyzing tons of Quest 3 vids and owning a PSVR 2 i can conclude that the Q3 is at PS3 level graphically, and the PSVR 2 is at PS4. If that makes any sense..
