Alpacas eat thatch. That's all I feed him. When u saw that jaguar, there was blue stuff on the ground which starts the mini game to catch a baby jag for a mount.

Tough game solo, nice job man. If u press Z on inventory item. It will place star on the item and won’t be move from inventory when importing items to chests. Also middle mouse button locks on target, I found it helpful for spear throwing or using f button skill as it will chase target when they are walking left/right of you.

you can take your alpaca with you into the bases when you raid them the barbarians don't attack them just remember to call it too you when you need to fill it's sacks with loot.

You can also set how character fight. So if your worried about a character dieing make them range so they don't go into the middle of a fight

in the behavior settings for people and animals, you can set their auto-feed and drink. and adjust it in percentage. I adjusted it for my Alpaca because it seemed like it would never eat.

the fire at 11:35 is an unlocked spawn point. some areas will have poison or radiation, or cold. hunter log only shows animals that you've killed. unfortunately when I killed a baby alpaca (I know, I'm a horrible person lol), it didn't show up in the hunter log. just kill piranha, harvest them for fish. research and craft weapon&tool durability mods.

Your Alpaca was fine it had some thatch in it's inventory. Default eating threshold for animals and tibesmate is 60% This can be adjusted under behavior settings. You have to kill even non hostile animals for them to be entered into your hunting entry. You can fight under water. I would wipe out the piranha because you companions will usually derp out.

A few suggestions: (1) you can kill piranhas with arrows (you picked some up prior) (2) make bronze gauntlets, they're a ton of fun and devastating, (3) please try to use the lock-on with middle mouse button -- i know it can be annoying, especially when you're surrounded, but it helps a ton when you're holding down attack with spear/gauntlets and pressing MMB again disables it when needed, (4) you can destroy the clay pots in bases and get things like seeds, I seem to get something from maybe 1 of every 5 pots.

ive seen that aloe is EVERYWHERE just turn your grass settings to minimum for a minute, and you'll see it.

It’s a hunting log you have to kill an animal for it to be in it. So even a llama or other peaceful creature you have to kill one. Some of the higher level peaceful creatures are hard they bolt ones you hit them and are fast.

@28:36 That's a far better bow than the one you have on your hot bar, enemy weapons can be repaired unlike armor. You'd have a lot more arrows to pull with if you looted them all. If the intention is to pull does it really matter how much damage they are doing?

For the darkness in the video's. the hip light + 10 on brightness during editing looks real good. Similar to ASKA.

You can also make Alpaca food in the Cooking Stove but you need corn to make it

Instead of arrows you could use the first Spear skill to hook and lure the enemies to you, i always carry a spear for that "Get over here" move

To unlock Alpaca in the Hunting Gallery you have to kill an adult, easiest at the Flint Tribe or Claw Tribe. Claw is prob better since Flint is behind one boss near the second.

Alpaca can eat thatch and corn , i usually keep a stack of 🌽 on them and it lasts forever. Cant remember if you kill an alpaca it is added to the gallery. After you have a couple alpacas (or 3 - 4 in my case 😅) you can kill one of the extra ones you can find all over at camps Oh, and when you see the piranha, you can kill them from the shoreline, either using the spear or arrows, quite easy to kill from shore and they give you fish "meat" for cooking

Hit F before you throw the spear.... If you are at the right distance, it'll auto aim.

7:47 It's kind of annoying that you can't pick up arrows from the enemy. They use arrows against you.

The enemy archers def drop arrows, and it's usually it's enough to keep you replenished, unless your just doing only 100% bow attacks.
