These 2 Vietnamese Street Food Dishes Surprised Us

In this food travel vlog, my gf and I eat some Vietnamese street food in District 1, Saigon, Vietnam. We were driving by this restaurant on Co Bac Street in Co Giang ward, and we noticed a decent number of people dining at the late night eatery, so we decided to pull over and give it a try. I’m glad we did because we were pleasantly surprised with the food here!
The location of the restaurant is:
Geylang by 9
25 Đ. Cô Bắc, Phường Cầu Ông Lãnh, Quận 1, Thành phố Hồ Chí Minh
We ordered a couple of late night snacks, including one hủ tiếu xào bò, or beef stir-fried noodles, and one fried shrimp with garlic and chili. We ate these dishes and give you a signature Dank Rank Food Review.
The total price for these two dishes and two glass of Vietnamese iced tea was 165k vnd, or $6.72.
For anyone traveling to Vietnam and visiting the famous Bui Vien Party Street, this restaurant is a very short walking distance away. They stay open until 3am, so it’s a great place to get some late night food after you’ve had a couple of beverages.

Those 2 plates of food would have cost a minimum of AU$ 30 for both here in Australia and another AU$10 for the 2 glasses of Iced Tea so a bloody expensive snack here !

It's all relative. In countries where the workers earn less, the cost of living is lower. If what they ate cost the same as in Aussieland, none of the locals would be able to afford it.

Looked very nice but I am the same with regards to shrimp peeling. I like my shrimps naked. Have seen other videos where the shrimp was not peeled at all. The person said they liked the crunch it gave. Definitely not for me.
