oh my god i remember getting these toys in happy meals when i was a kid, i was so avid about collecting them that we would ask the cashiers if they could give us the specific toys that i needed to complete the set (hell, i'm pretty sure i have most of them in a box somewhere still). it was stupidly fun just messing around with them and i'm so glad that americans are finally seeing these!

I got the Yoshi, boomerang mario, penguin mario, fire mario and question block mario ones as a kid, they were available in the Netherlands too. Starting to feel like Asia and Europe get specific selections, and then america gets specific selections seperately.

6:05 I actually own a McDonalds toy like this one, It’s not the exact same one though. Difference being that It Isn’t battery operated, instead having a like a sliding button for sliding Mario up or down (with a cute little M emblem on the button) and a star coming out of the block when Mario hits It.

Little update: I actually found the two toys I mentioned (gave them to my daughter's a while back). Interestingly, the Yoshi one is exactly the same as the one in this video, but the flagpole one is actually a different toy not dissimilar to those hammer-and-bell toys at fayres. Looks like we got a slightly different line of toys here, but at least the Yoshi one is identical

Theas toys where also in the UK orthow the peach was slightly redesined and the stamp feature removed other than that i think the UK had the same ones in 2015 BUT 1 of the UK ones was different we didn't get the mario on flag pole instead we got the mario kart hat from the mario happy meals
