Cade, the “Stun Discrepancy” you’re so bothered about is because Sour Weapons have an inherently high amount of stun power. Hence why the spicy and minty weapons didn’t have the crazy high stun power of the acid edge

Cade, I highly suggest the tingle tongue, it's probably one of the best weapons in grounded; when upgraded it's 3 hit combo has an AoE aftershock that does wicked stun, and no creatures in grounded are resistant to sour. If you can find a trinket that does Implant Weakness: Sour and use it with that weapon, you'll shred, and be pretty close to god,

I made a Glowbasa necklace with Mantis damage, Salt damage up minor, and Finale Goo. Works wonders for the mantis boss because of trying to slow their attack sequences. I legit replaced the black ox hammer with the Salt Chipper because it was so much fast then waiting for the slowing swinging of the BOH. Plus it can still use the Smasher perk so that's good AND with finale bleed. Kind of a bummer they made the cool looking weapons the worse option. Reminds me of TF2 weapons that look cool but are worse.

For general usage, my favourite would be: Damage resist-(reduces 50% of damage taken) Finale damage-(the 3rd your ,,3 combo" weapon deals 25% more damage) Implant weakness: sour-(this makes every creature 50% weak to sour. Since no bug has a resistance to sour, this will deal a huge amount of damage) Ofc use our loved weapon, the sour battle axe😌

That cone you found with implant weakness salty and boss damage, you should use that on the mantis and wasp queen. "implant weakness" gives you 50% more damage when doing that type of elemental damage, and it stacks with the natural weaknesses of bugs and gets rid of any resistance to that element. So for the mantis and wasp queen which already take 50% extra damage from salty attacks, the implant weakness will jack your bonus damage up to 100%. Add onto that the boss damage up which gives you 30% extra damage for all bosses, and using that cone will make you 130% stronger against the mantis and wasp queen, not including other buffs like armor and food. Edit: any trinket that has "(specific boss) damage up" isn't great. For some reason, the specific boss damage up only gives you 10% extra damage for that boss, compared to the generic boss damage up giving you 30% extra damage for all bosses.

The best is dependent on what build you want to go for, you need to get the perks based off of what you primarily use in terms of build, there isn’t an inherently “best” perk on the Glowbasa’s, so it’s all up to you, my man.

Hey cade so i found out something that you might what to know, if you get to new game+ and up you can get tier 4 weapons for killing bosses but there is a low chance I think 25% but if you use dissection expert you have a higher chance(it works for repeatable bosses like for example the broodmother, waspqueen, and mantis. It also works for the non reaptable bosses like the mant and director schmector which i think are the only two). :) love your vids

Spicy axe isn't worth upgrading imo, it's not nearly as useful as the other two. A lot of things are weak to fresh, esp in the upper yard, so frosted flake and fresh edge are amazing. Only a few things are weak to sour (bosses). But if you find a science trinket with "implant weakness: sour" then that's when things go crazy. You can also get attack speed using widow armor or a science trinket with samerai (only works with katanas though).

Ok im leaving another comment and its for the suggestion for you about the raw science, Ik this might seem crazy, but you can always do bugraids with waft emitter, for example the Black widow raid farm(would not recomend in your current stage of the game, as they are nightmare to deal with💀) probably other best way is to kill tier 1 bugs, such as larva, red ants, mite and Spiderlings, and the farm is not that bad + if you do it in 1 day cycle, it should earn you about 50k raw science easily

Collect molars then ng4 for infused weapons. They get 2 effects on them like waffles and they are higher damage than the similar ones. Implant weakness and up best of the same type are usually the best combo for more damage. Final fury is good and for chunk damage crit damage up best plus crit chance can chunk pretty hard.

CADE, i have a very OP build for u, it cosists of a science cone or globasa neckalese with the perks: samari, sour dmg up best, and inplant weekness sour, then use the tingle toungue which on the 3rd hit, does a sour AoE that stuns enemies, for the armour you can use whatever you want but i highly recomend the koi fish set to help with perfect blocking because if you get hit then your attack speed buff will go away cuz of the samari perk. the samari will make you attack very fast and because of the sour AoE the tingle toungue has, you can perma stun most enemies and it will shred :D

sour naturaly stuns so thats why the sour axe does more stun, but also, easiest place to farm is the normal ants,but the mites on the log an by the haze they are in abundance for raw science an respawn every 3 days, its more worth to dupe the shells in mass when u get like 25k or so, then next time do the black ox horns, then make everything also, loot luck is a trinket now, an its so worth it when u have the stuffed bug, mutation an trinket, (ng+4 has weapons w loot luck) it stacks

It’s not fury. It makes attacks with katanas give a 10% attack speed buff (opposed to fury’s 20% or 25%) that stacks up to 5 times and lasts until combat ends or the player gets hit.

I have a science cone with healing on parry, extra boss damage and extra stamina. Then blademaster giving extra damage on the next attack, rubbing the broodmother trophy and try ignoring the spawns. I just wear roly poly armor but there’s probably way better armor to optimize this

No context. What difficulty are you on? What ng+ are you on? Fire ant armor would be much better for damage. Roly poly set bonus is almost useless. Pretty much all of its bonuses are almost useless. Blademaster doesn’t make you do more damage on the next attack.
