@@ccc-qp7el weird. Why would you want to be old? I'm 35. I want to go backwards. I'm old now and it's depressing because society makes women feel like aging is bad and if you get older, you're no longer attractive and that's not something to be excited about

@@palestar828 I dealt with a lot of mental issues when I was younger, I was very shy and insecure and frankly just unhappy. Now that I'm married and have kids I don't give a crap what others think about me, and ironically I am more confident than ever. Who cares if I've gained a bit of weight or that I'm starting to get some fine lines on my face? I don't need approval from others anymore, I feel amazing in the skin that I'm in now

I turn 54 in a few weeks. Don't listen to society or marketing -- you can be beautiful as you grow older. Absolutely. I don't do cosmetic procedures but I don't need to, either, and people are surprised when I mention my age. I take care of my skin and my gut health and I do facial massages, including with gua sha tools. Really -- accentuate your positive and embrace your cosmetic weaknesses. It's really about your individuality and respecting this. Don't get depressed at the lovely women on tik tok - many of them you would find their character and personalities ruin whatever outward beauty they possess. There are some things beauty can't fix or camoflage for long. I look forward to life -- I don't need nor do I want to be 20 again. Don't settle for looking back -- look ahead because it really does getter better with age.

These ingredients Cass recommended are all fantastic, but I also wanted to add that chemical peels, lasers, and microneedling done in a licensed aesthetic clinic or derm's office can be a HUGE help with reversing sun damage. I had horrible acne scars, and chemical peels and microneedling helped a ton. But they also made me look younger and helped with aging.

we don't have much evidence yet for anti ageing effects of adapalene. We do however have decades of hard science for the efficacy of tretinoin. It's the gold standard. Adapalene was made to treat acne and targets specific receptors.
@KG9551
@KG9551 Жыл бұрын
@@SueRosalie there have been several studies that show adapalene is also effective for treating signs of aging and wrinkles and reversing sun damage. There have also been studies of comparing the two ingredients that showed that they had similar affects on treating the signs of aging. Tretinoin has more studies (most likely because it’s prescription-only), but there is still science behind adapelene. And my own experience has shown me that the ingredient is effective.

I have a question regarding cell regulators. We're talking about vitamin A, of course. In that sense, does oral isotretinoin have the same impact/effect as topical tretinoin? Of course, with oral isotretinoin, there are systemic effects and also adverse effects, so the risk/benefit ratio may not favor using oral isotretinoin over topical tretinoin, at least in the particular case of your video. I'm asking more as an academic question. Thanks!

I saw that titanium dioxide is one of the ingredients for protecting us from UV rays, but I recently searched it on the net and it said it is harmful. Is it really safe to use products containing titanium dioxide?

Thanks to you. I got save a lot of money used on where i should spend. And i know how to choose products. I got my gentle cleanser An antioxidants hydrating moisturizer An antioxidant hybrid sunscreen with broad spectrum sunscreen. A tretinoin cream. Same for my body too it just i use exfoliting moisturizer on my body instead of tretinoin but i still use tretinoin on my hand and feet and sunscreens Everywhere. I can't believe your are already about to be in your 30th. You look mature but not 30 woman, maybe 25 years old i guess. Happy birthday 🎉 Cassandra sis. Happy diwali from india.

What!??? You are not 30 yet!??? I CANNOT BELIEVE IT! Because you speak and look so mature, and put together, and honestly most of the time are not bitching about your surroundings like most Gen Z do. What a refreshing piece of information! Some Gen Z are actually admirable 🎉

Being an old gal with eczema prone skin, it's super hard, and frustrating when I need all the help I can get, yet retinols cannot do, Vit C, and others, as well as so many products have alcohol, fragrance etc. Bummer.

get your dermatologist to prescribe a compounded cream with tretinoin plus whatever you need to treat the eczema. Don't worry, vitamin c creams don't work anyway.

I'm 55 and cant find a foundation that doesn't look terrible on my skin. I have actually stopped wearing any makeup because it looks better. I'd like to find something because my skin is pink. Almost rosacea like. But, I cant keep buying and throwing things away. ☹

Some popular makeup artists say that most people's skin doesn't look good with foundation and that they use filters to hide it. It's easier for foundation to look cakey or settle into lines than if you just spot treat with concealer, so that's what I tend to do since I have acne scars and texture. I know Illia advertises its foundation for mature skin, so maybe a formula like that one would work for you? Some people also swear by powder minearl foundations because they're not as heavy as liquid foundation, and you don't have to apply extra powder like you would to set a liquid foundation.

Can u talk about benzen in sunscreens in the next video? I heard that It is not usually listed on the product and is often hidden under the "perfume" folder. Alternatively, you can find it under the names benzene, ethylbenzene, methylbenzene.

It's not listed because it is not an ingredient and is not supposed to be there in any form, it was a contamination that affected specific batches of certain sunscreens, mostly spray ones. Lab Muffin Beauty science and Dr Dray both have great videos on this issue.

Hi can you do a review on Truth Treatments? I have been using it for a few months now and my skin is looking better than ever. I am 55 and saw your video on KBeauty and the tools so I bought theMedicube Airshot and Age-R devices. I use them in conjunction with the Truth Treatments. My nail tech noticed my face looked different just 3 weeks later. My cheeks were higher and pores have basically vanished. SO I am on the way to flawless looking skin!
