Yep, had that happen to my wife and I at Walmart. 3 guys turned up in the same places as we went yet they had nothing they were buying...got a real uneasy feeling. We both carry. Told my wife what was happening and to be prepared. Those individuals disappeared after I made no secret I knew what they were up to.

No Name, I'm not saying you and your wife are wrong but ages ago when America was normal we would go to say Bloomie's or JC Penney just to relax. And I " did it " at Target a couple of days ago- I was " window shopping " for at least two hours and I'm sure I drove the Target security people nuts- but I was having a nasty PTSD attack and I just didn't care. And I left with a very beautiful and practical 2024- 2025 planner ( a shameless plug) - but that was the only thing I bought. All I'm saying- by all means be extremely careful but you could be dead wrong.

27 Years ago I was a very young single mom who lived in my own with my child & instinctively I always drove home a different way & If A car was behind me I would drive around in circles etc until nobody was around or near me. This is spot on. It actually happened to me about 2 months ago and I'm super careful of not creating routine/patterns and I always pay attention, always taking stock of people in my vicinity as I do my errands, shop, etc. A guy was following me from one location to the other - spotting him in the 2nd location could be a coincidence but definitely the 3rd location that same day was intentional. And the 3rd time he had another man with him. I can seem like a easy physical target bcause i'm petite in size. Those guys Definitely bad intentions. I did do an SDR and immediately getting someone on the phone I think saved me from a very bad situation. This is why we Always can never be clueless and distracted when moving around. Keep up the great work getting this critical saving information out there! God bless!

I don’t know why, but my situational awareness has always been Sharp. I have been accused of being paranoid by several family members. I was shopping with my sister at Walmart, when I noticed her being followed by a man with a ankle bracelet. She never pays attention to her surroundings so when I finally caught up with her, I mentioned it to her and we abruptly left. He did follow us out, but I had my eye on him like a hawk and I let him know that I did see him. Got in her car and drove around until we knew we weren’t being followed. Btw, this happened in American Fork Utah.

If you pay attention to your surroundings and perceive a threat the people I have been with thought I was being paranoid. Several of the perceived threats turned out to be real bad guys. Some of those bad guys went to jail for more than 20 years for serious crimes that luckily didn't involve me. Paranoia is a skill that should be cherished and developed.

I have been followed twice in a good ol' Walmart (diffrent locations). Both times I had my Service Dog w/ me. 1st time my SD was a 100lb Rottweiler. 2nd time, my SD was a Pit Bull. Both times I stopped in middle of isle (w/ppl around) & very loudly asked both men, "What are you following me for? I don't know you, and you're harassing me?! Then, I proceeded to yell for a member of management or Security. I also then stated that my dog was not happy about them getting close, & they had been trained in protection as well. These guys hi tailed it out of that store so fast it was comically. Meak & quite is what they hope for, NOT loud, brash, & combative! And the dog always helps! 🐕🦺

Thanks for the video. In college, we get used to seeing the same people everywhere. We live in a dorm with a few hundred to few thousand people. We eat at the same dining halls. We're often taking similar classes. We have access to the same university gymnasium. I was never a bar guy, but for those who go to bars, the same bars are within walking distance of the dorms. I left college expecting that I would always see the same people everywhere. I was shocked when I started going to the grocery store and never seeing anyone from work. I was mostly visiting small churches, but I never saw anyone I knew in church. If I didn't make plans to see someone, I didn't see that person. I think I once ran into a guy I knew at a volleyball court. I was never super sociable, so I wasn't particularly surprised. I knew people in college who were very sociable. We could go anywhere, and they would see people that they knew. I wonder how things like this work for those people. Your recommendation about evasive driving evokes an old family story. When my mom was a young professional in town, she and a friend were out driving one night. Early in the evening, some guys were yelling at them at a traffic light. The guys weren't mean. They were just young guys being young guys. She and her friend had dinner, caught a movie, and drove around a bit more. They noticed that a car made the exact turn that they made twice. They made a random turn. The car followed. They couldn't remember the car that the guys had been driving, and in the dark, they couldn't see the car very well anyway. They made a few more random turns, and the car followed them every time. Of course, cell phones were decades in the future, and young women didn't carry guns in 1950's America. They decided to make one more random turn. If the car followed, they would turn into the third driveway they saw and just pretend that they were home. The car followed them into the driveway. By half a dozen or so random choices, they had ended up in the driveway of the people who had been behind them. This older couple gets out of the car and asks whether everything is okay. As they tell the story, everyone realizes how hilarious the whole situation is. They were invited inside for coffee and cookies and had a nice talk.

1:43 Just like Ian Fleming said in the novel "Goldfinger". Except he put it: "Once is happenstance. Twice coincidence. The third time it's enemy action." 4:26 Go around the block by making right turns; why would anyone go around in a circle, back to the road they were just driving if they weren't following you? That's what the bank robbers from the 1986 Miami FBI shootout did to find out they were being followed. 4:28 That's what my mom did, she was in a road rage incident, and some lady followed her home. And I said to my mom, if you knew you were being followed, why did you lead them to where you live? Nothing ever came of it, but there are crazy people out there who would burn the house down or something. Especially, now with criminal justice system, that protects criminals and gets them back out on the streets as soon as possible and arrest anyone one who defends them self from said criminals.

The FIRST thing to do is drive around the block TWO TIMES. Unless someone is very lost; most people do not drive around the block … let alone TWICE. (They will know that YOU KNOW that they are there; ESPECIALLY if you do it two times). And if driving around the block two times does not convince you, do a broken you turn. And if they do the broken you turn drive to the nearest police station, hospital emergency door. NEVER GO HOME!

I used to live in a rural area so no one would normally be going where I was as i got closer to my place, a few times i had someone following me, so i had an SDR route- an alternate way to get to my place. Once while using this, I noticed a "follower" get fouled up by it. Since it was a loop, I caught on they were following. Anyone who knew the area meaning a legit neighbor, wouldn't have gone that way. I now ALWAYS have alternate routes to get home.

It isn't always nefarious...but if I were a government employee , I may be a little more suspicious because of my job.

Thank you, Jason. Will you also talk about when a neighbor who lives in the same apartment building starts to stalk us?

Here's an example of what WOULD be stalking,,, no ifs,, ands or buts. Let's say it's Friday morning and you're at checkout line at your local Target store and some bearded guy in line befriends you and asks you a couple of semi-personal questions. No real reason for alarm. Now let's say it's Friday afternoon and you encounter the same guy at the local Home Depot store,, just a mile away. You give him the "benefit of the doubt" in that case,, realizing it could be just accident or coincidence. Now let's say it's the next day (Saturday afternoon) and you're in a town 50 miles away,, at some Costco (or wherever) and the same bearded guy conveniently puts himself in checkout line just behind you. By then,, things become a bit strange,, bizarre and UNnerving. NOT very likely that could be a "coincidence" also. In such a scenario,, Probable Cause says he is "stalking" you.

Like these crimes that have been happening a lot lately where someone goes into a bank and withdraws a large sum of cash and gets followed from the bank and robbed. It could be someone working at the bank, someone in the bank who saw the transaction then followed and or called friends to join in the following. Of course these crimes you dont get several chances to see people possibly following you. Like Jason also said, there has been a lot of people robbed of jewelry that wear expensive watches or rings and get followed out of a mall and attacked in the parking lot or at their home after being followed. ALWAYS PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SURROUNDINGS AND WHO CARES IF YOU OFFEND SOMEONE BY SAYING SOMETHING TO SOMEONE YOU THINK IS FOLLOWING YOU!

Thank you for the information. This happened to me several times over the years. I was not the target; I was the unwilling follower. It just so happened the car in front of me would turn the same road that I need to turn. After a few times, I can tell the driver got nervous because he/she would first speed up a bit then a lot in residential area where you are supposed to drive slowly. Meanwhile, I was like 'please don't turn the same road again'. Inevitably they did, then acted like they were being chased. I rolled my eyes and laughed.

Solid advice Sir, and in my view everyone in todays climate. Should know these skills Spy or not! People should practice with a couple of friends to hone their skills, and should have an action plan. God forbid this happens to them. Including calling 911 and heading to a fire hall or a busy environment. To many people get so scared they go to their house, or parkades everywhere there isn’t a lot of witnesses and potential help. People these days, are also embarrassed to call out for help. “Yell and scream Help or Fire” to initially get attention. Women and children should know these skills especially, and Not become paranoid. Just learn the skills of knowing their surroundings, and not a cell phone screen! This skill alone could potentially cut down on abductions, and sexual assaults and as you mentioned home invasions. As always Sir Great advice, and look forward for more content. God Bless you and your Family! Ps. As Jason will probably tell you too. NEVER get into a vehicle, with the bad guy whether it’s theirs or yours.

Jason, TY for your channel. I recently found you & have been pouring through your work. I have a problem with ongoing threat/potential further threat. My home is semi rural with land behind the house with animals on it. A very large bush walk/off road cycle area borders my land. A Carpark, joined to these facilities is located on the same side, approx 200m distance from my fenceline. The carpark is on a high point, looking down onto my property, with a large paddock (not mine) between us. This carpark is always has drug users parked up & we all know how their minds can insidiously creep into unsavoury thoughts. What would you do in this situation? I keep everything locked away. I keep the property looking idy. I have double electric fencing & a good number of warning signs on the fences. I have wifi cameras, solar powered floodlights, sensor lights. Barbed wire on key jump points & also created a *kill zone by making escape very difficult around the home.. either you get cut up or forced to leave through a paddock & over the electric fence. In my country, we cannot use firearms to the same degree as in the states yet i am not unarmed, i just do not have lethal weapons..unless hit in an unlucky spot. We have had prowlers & also actively surveillanced. The prowlers were funnelled successfuly to where i wanted them to go which was great... however my concern is for my animals. What could i do around my paddocks to make the thought too hard to attempt to steal stock, other than electrifying everything?

I never buy and wear valuable items. It’s just not my thing. I would rather take people fun places and enjoy the company.

The US will likely never see an organized insurrection of similar capability as the former Stasi of East Germany, which provided financing, training, data, and matériel to the Red Army Faction resistance organization to hit high-ranking civilian hard targets like Detlev Karsten Rohwedder and Alfred Herrhausen. The Herrhausen incident was exceptionally professional, because the target was threatened several times, the target was surrounded by security, and the adversary reached directly through that security wall to kill only the intended target while he was riding inside his moving armored vehicle. No evidentiary leads were ever developed to incriminate any persons of interest; the adversary cleanly got away. The Rohwedder incident exploited security weaknesses (known to the state police who were protecting the target), the assassination scene was professionally staged with DNA and other forensic evidence to frame an individual (who wouldn't have been that careless with his own DNA), known to state police for domestic terrorist threats, who suspiciously died in a subsequent state police raid, casting doubt on the fidelity of the state police. Both cases are officially unsolved.
