Really nice breakdown. I remember being infuriated with the lead hook when I started boxing. Outside of classes I would just practice it for months until I finally got it.

Bro ive been watching your vids for awhile and i just wanna say thank you for the content you bring! Particularly the 25 minute bodyweight conditioning circuit that you posted a year ago is my favorite, my conditioning has significantly improved because of it. I myself am a martial artist and ive been studying Taekwondo for 10 years and still going. Again dude thank you!

no, unless if all you do is lifting.

No brother, provided you keep up with things like mobility, explosive and technical work. Keep it balanced and not only will it not hinder you, it'll make you better.

Is it bad practice to keep training on your own? Does it reinforce bad habits?
@grantstevensma2 ай бұрын
You absolutely need to train on your own, but how much you’re doing in comparison to doing stuff with others/coaches depends entirely on where you’re at currently. If you’re well aware of your inadequacies and can self correct then it’s cool, but many people don’t have the eye for that so that’s where you can run in to trouble

Mate , question : do you have a damn fuck$& gloves 12/16 that is really not screwing up all the time the thumb ? I have been using small gloves (Muy Thai ) for many years. Love them. But boxing gloves : my thumb Nevers curles enough . Thank you for helping
@grantstevensma2 ай бұрын
These are bag gloves I'm using in this video bro. They don't have the thumb connected to the hand so you can move it more and they help with better technique
