One thing I havnt thought about is that it does in fact says spell damage and not magical on veil of discord so this applies to all physical spell dmg as well, that’s pretty cool!

I see Pavise as being a good item, but I wouldn't see it as a glimmer replacement. For me to alternative to glimmer is force staff. It lets you reposition and get away quick when you're out of position. Also force/glimmer scale well into the lategame, they are viable at all stages of the game, especially lategame where cores can kill you in seconds repositioning is so good. Forcestaff also builds from fluffy hat, so you get decent tankyness if you don't need the magic redist from cape. Now pavise on the other hand is great, also the manaregen and the flat barrier are amazing earlygame. I will consider it after this video on some melee supports, maybe a treant. But lategame it falls of hard, the flat damage barrier of 300 is blocking like 1 attack lategame. So to conclude: In my opinion, a great earlygame item and definitely has it's place, great value. I just don't understand why you compare it to glimmer, serves a different purpose IMO.

@@Rusty_1030 That definitely increases the potency abit. Afaik armour is 6% per point. So midgame probabl, like with 10 armour it increases to a 480 barrier, maybe lategame 20 armour 660 barrier. That's a nice buff for sure. Still no replacement for Force/Glimmer imo. I would consider getting them seperately cause they serve different purposes. Then again, it delays other things I would want like blink, BKB as a support. Also the manaregen really doesn't fit in any of my current support builds. Normally I'm getting Arcane boots, which gives me and the team the mana we need. An extra 2.5 regen is certaibly appreciated (like aether lens) but not necessary imo. At which point I'm askingmyself again why I'm not getting aether lens. Really I don't see a place for it in any of my builds rn.i would strongly consider it if it built into another lategame item.

Seeds of serenity gang over here 🙋🏻 I am takeing it on almost every hero, it is partially cause I play mainly offlane and support role, but is deffinitly my favourite tier one for any offlane and majority of supports. Perfect item 👌🏼

Pavise is INCREDIBLE on offlane heroes and seriously consider that instead of vanguard. The barrier is further boosted by armor thus make it extremely more valuable on high armor heroes. It can be a 600-700 EHP item, ridiculous for 1500 gold range. Moreover, the item gives MANA regen, which is much harder to come by, especially on defensive items.

As a wraith king spammer i always buy drums as a third or fourth item. Pair it up with AC and you can pretty much terrorize backline supports with your skeletons in clash.

As a SD player I Love Boots of Bearing, mades Highground Invading and Retreats so much easy.And gets u better positioning and survibality with the Regen and MS.

Seeds of serenity is something I would take literally on any hero always, nothing comes close, maybe pig pole in some niche scenarios

pavise itemization is so bad for most supports tho. id rather start building on my glimmer or force staff or anything else that's gonna be useful mid and late game than build pavise that's most probably gonna be useless later on

i really got sidetracked because the background clip when talking about telescope is shadow shaman killing legion commander in duel... but it wasn't because of shadow shaman has a huge damage but just because the nature prophet hitting legion from below...

I always play Viper mid with full magical build, and therefore buy veil of discord in most of the games and it destroys the enemy heroes. I use it until late game even unless i find can buy a better item.

Pasive needs an upgrade. It falls off in the late game. Like if it was an upgrade with Vlads that gives lifesteal to the target, then it would be worth buying.

An idea that I want to experiment with is playing Lone Druid as 2 heroes. Yes I know aghs lets you do that, but I mean as in support + carry. Phase, harpoon and crystalys on the bear, Then going for drums, Vlads and AC on the hero. (And then of course the mandatory triple wraith bads on each.)

Force boots on WR has won me many a late game. People don't seem to care that they let you become truly six slotted.

I'm fairly new to dota2, but in my 600h now I can recall 2 games where I got a Tier 5 neutral. If one team pushes their advantage and the game doesn't d/evolve into a farmfest, I rarely get to see these T5 neutrals. Aren't all tier 5's so broken that they basically can be considered equal if not greater than a lategame item? So if forceboots and drop your boots, or a OP tier 5 and keep your boots, what gives? I wouldn't consider this knowledge essential to improve your game. In my expirience getting to this point is super rare anyway. Global TP from BoT's can also be gamedeciding to rejoin lategame fight's quickly. You'll loose it with forceboots. From a quick glance on the wiki on Forceboots 1 thing come to mind: The speed unlock, could be interesting for something like spirit breaker that can reach max. speed and probably surpass it, and it's damage is directly tied to his speed.
