Hi Christopher, the territories coins are not legal tender here but whilst serving in the Falklands we used both UK and Falklands same with the IOM coins. Is it just here they are not legal tender?

Just heard about your King and I am very sad to hear that He has cancer. Even though I am American I Guess He is my king as well since I have done my DNA & I learned that I am 50% England and Northern Europe. Isn't it amazing that there are 50p coins minted by the millions that are worth more than face value yet their material value in metal is very little. Why mint such coins, why not put a different figure on the face of the coin, say 1,000 pennies or 10k pennies? Oh, silly me, that would put you out of a job, although i am sure someone else would come up with the idea and convince people that a coin is rare and of value, that will motivate people and encourage hoarding so there are actually far less coins in circulation which technically renders them scarce. But only scarce in circulation, which encourages greed and makes people loose their minds and pay more than the face value of a modern circulated coin. Why not just let out the secret and tell them all that if they ask the bank they can buy bags of coins and make up a collection costing only the face value that they can sell on for a massive profit and some brainwashed fool will pay the price, their grand children will then sell them on and get a return of face value.
