Actually there are easy ways to help save them. Like using Amazonsmile and shopping responsibly. The biggest way is to show interest and support organizations who fight for these animals. like the World Wildlife Foundation and #Youthvgov, Because it's not fair that the first beings impacted by climate change had little or nothing to do with it. And the people inheriting the byproducts of our laziness have no choice whatsoever. Its within our reach to change things, but only if we try to fix things. support.worldwildlife.org/site/SPageServer? pagename=can_home&_ga=2.141952692.702692795.1496887654-1346074060.1496887654 www.ourchildrenstrust.org/mission-statement/

I never knew Red Knee tarantulas were endangered, I've got one myself. Although I wonder if they meant B. Hamorii or B. Smithi?
@luisen19966 жыл бұрын
I've read Mendoza's paper on both species. I understand that B. Smithi was thought to be endangered but since it's redescription, the truth is that B. Smithi is actually rare in the hobby while B.Hamorii is actually the one most people own. So B. Hamorii is the one in the greatest threat. I believe they're not actually endangered but the way things are going they will be. They will never go extinct in the hobby but that's not all good news as they occupy an important niche in their environment.

Judging from your name, you must come from Indonesia, and you must think that tapirs are native to Indonesia only. Well you're wrong, because tapirs exist in Brazil as well. And guess what, TAPIR is not an Indonesian word, the word "tapir" comes from an indigenous Brazilian language; it means "thick," referring to the animal's hide!
