I learned about this in school and other similar sites. Our prof explained that the project came to a halt for these reasons: 1. It was expensive to build. 2. The market listing price was really high for these houses, which made it hard to sell them at the time. 3. It was located in an area that had a lot of toxic plants(?) or insects, making living conditions unfavourable.

The ufo shaped house is called "Futuro" and the other one is "Venturo" they are designed by finnish architech Matti Suuronen and they are made out of mainly plastic. In Finland and Sweden there are still couple of them in a good condition. Also there are couple of gas stations from the same designer and they are made out of plastic too.

One day like when I was 5, I saw everything that happened before that day I woke up. Starting from birth all the way to the location of my bed and waking up. But in between that, I saw a dragon. I don't remember the color but I think it was blue or purple maybe green? Ever since I woke up that day the dragon never left my memory and at the time I called the dragon my friend but, during this I suppose 'vision' when it showed the dragon it showed it infront of me and it turning around and flying away while me and my family members waved goodbye to it. The location that I saw the dragon was in panama, where I was born. I will never forget that day because it felt like the day that I actually started living and remembering things. This is a true story from my childhood believe or not idc. Anyways. When I woke up after seeing everything, I remember getting out of bed rather quickly and walking into the kitchen where I saw my and heard my parents talking and when I entered the kitchen they both turned their heads to look at me. The way that they looked at me kinda gave and still gives me weird vibes like..it's fake? Idk But yeah that was the first day that I felt like it was the beginning of my life. Has anyone else experienced this before waking up without any memory of anything that's ever happened before then? Or is it just..me..?

The poster is talking about the sangzhi UFO houses in Taiwan. Thing is, Futuro houses were displayed. No connection between the two apart from they're both round and have multiple windows. Futuro houses actually look like ufos, with tripodlike legs and a fold down front door with steps leading in, whereas the sangzhi homes were more tablet shaped and stacked on top of one another. They didnt have the fold down door. Futuro houses were made in Finland, and featured in the 1960s London tech fair. There are over 60 left out of 100, several were renovated and lived in, and the two Originals were kept in the museum of Finland. Nothing to do with sangzhi resort and yes, there were a lot of deaths that happened there during its construction. In the end, because of the multiple deaths, word got out that there was a curse, the resort was abandoned, and the UFO houses were left to fall into disrepair. there are no more ufo houses left in sanzhi. However, you can still get Futuro houses for sale every now and then. Most are refurbished and lived in, even to this day.

No, I looked into this way back in second grade from a goofy magazine. It was an old project (Can’t remember the location) with the baseline being building “futuristic homes”. The project was ACTUALLY cut because for one, it wasn’t conventional, and two, it was super expensive. Not because of some chinese mythology bs. Near my grandparents house there are these really tall buildings, I think they’re buildings, and whenever we drove by them I would call them “The mushroom houses” because they were shaped like a mushroom. I never got told anything about them, until my mom told me to stop driving past them, as the houses were cursed- anyone who drove past or walked past them and disrespected them would die a weird death days later, I guess were fine because we loved them and have them a nice nickname. The houses were massive, and when I say massive, I mean it, when you turned onto my grandparents road, there was a swamp kinda thing under us, so they (not my grandparents) built a road above it, I never knew how far the swamp went down, but if you looked outside your window the mushroom houses would be there, extending at least 45 ft above you. They had small windows around the little rim of the mushroom top, but they were always dark and nobody was ever there, it always made me feel weird looking at them, so that’s why I called them the Mushroom houses with my mom to calm me down, as I loved mushrooms, still do. But the weird and creepy stuff only started happening after my grandparents had died in their house, only around 1 minute away, everyone tells me I’m just crazy for making stupid conspiracy theories, but the houses always scared me, I always felt uneasy because there were so many mushroom houses in that one area, it just felt cult-like. I never drive past them anymore, scared something is gonna happen, but tonight I have to go with my family to honor my grandparents death by their grave, in front of the mushroom houses. Btw this is all fake there are mushroom houses standing around 40ft tall on that street but the scary stuff never happened… or did it?
