63m is 68.898 yards and 200kg is 440.925 pounds. Enjoyed this. Absolute legends.

What's impressive about the goal kick was that those old balls were made of leather and were heavy. The balls made today are studied to have maximum flight and distance

Some of these records are not accurate. There have been players who have been 7ft tall, also the 63m kicks is not the longest either.

Dan Carter, you'll probably find his image in the dictionary when searching for Fly Half. Just the best.

Re the first video - this is MUCH easier in Sevens rugby, the fullback woud always be there in 15-a-side! 🙂

Was that kick not beaten? I'm sure there has been someone in international rugby that put it over from 72m. Not sure.
@KiwiPepega5 ай бұрын
Not that long, but several people from NZ and SA have kicked over 63-64 I think Barrett was one, and others I cant think of. Carter also nailed some over 60, all non wind assisted unlike this one. Those balls just didn't travel far enough without it. Still a good kick

@@KiwiPepega Is this just international rugby, or does it include professional rugby, I remember Frans Stein kicking a monster 72m, for a French club, and Mertens nailed a 65 for the AB's some time ago. I was just wondering. Thanks for the comment though.
