Jerad, thank you, great unboxing video. I am excited about the individual reviews after seeing this one. On the Alaris gunk, apologies, we have ditched the glue in our packaging to remedy this issue. Rubbing Alcohol will break the glues adhesive grip and allow you to wipe it off without damaging the PVD coating. On our leather, we use a 79lbs rare-earth magnet to hold retention for our blades. Because of the magnetic retention, we designed our strap system to be removable. If you look, both the snap and strap can be removed. Hope this helps my man. Again, great video, thank you very much for reaching out. Super stoked we could connect with an absolute professional in the industry. v/r Erik Hansen of FOBOS KNIVES

These are amazing. I really liked the Alaris. Seemed the most practical for anything I would do in the woods. Love their style, and veteran owned company. That's right up isle. Maybe try a magic eraser or armor all wipe sponge to get that gunk off the blade. Don't think they would mess with the coat. FOBOS has style.

Thank you for showcasing the knives and the knifemaker. I don't know if they have been around a long time, but the name is completely new to me. I love the thoughtfulness of the designs. Perhaps the first time I've seen jimping on the underside of the index finger section, and I like it a lot. I also like how the designs are conservative, like they've been doing this awhile and don't need to be flashy to make a name for themselves. Good minds at work in these blades.

I got a question: Spyderco Cruwear or Benchmade Cruwear? Which would you choose over other?

I don't think so but I will look into them
@concealmenttraining9371 Жыл бұрын
@NeevesKnives Busse Combat and CPK(Carothers Performance Knives) focusses on an optimal heat treating process. CPK uses Delta 3v(cpm3v) and Busse uses INFI steel which is close to A8mod. Cliff Stamp started testing Busse in the late 90's right through to 2015. They are known for toughness and consistent performance. These two companies are right at the top, you should look into reviewing them.

Not a fixie guy, but can we talk about your Yiddish for sec? A couple times you've said that you had schmuck on a knife. Schmuck literally means penis, so I think that's not what you intended. 😂 The word you're looking for is schmutz, which means dirt or grime.
