Some practical tips for using the charcoal kiln and smoking rack (you may already know some of this, but I'm putting it all in just for anyone watching who also wants tips): First of all, they always take the same amount of time to cook more charcoal, iirc, so using up the full 250 liters of volume every time is most efficient. Each log is exactly 50 liters, so 5 logs and you're good to go! You can also burn bones into charcoal, which might be worth considering since dinosaurs are absolutely stuffed full of bones, though any nearby museums might get pissed off at you if you try this IRL. Secondly, charcoal kilns are ridiculously easy to make, needing only 40 rocks (easy to gather by smashing boulders with a long stick), low fabrication skill, and a digging stick (just make one with a plank). For the amount of meat you might be able to pull in with dinomod turned on, I suggest making a few kilns, though one is probably enough to keep up with current demand. Thirdly, if you should need your meat to last even longer for some reason, re-insert the smoked meat into the smoking rack and you can turn it into dehydrated meat for a bit longer shelf life. I like keeping some as emergency rations. Charcoal has other uses as well! A rock forge that burns charcoal is the simplest way to start blacksmithing, as you already know from the last character iirc. If you get food poisoning, I think you might be able to eat charcoal to help (don't quote me on this one, that might be out of date info)? This last tip is mostly useful on more recent experimental versions, but you can also make charcoal water filters for purifying water on the go, all you need is charcoal and a plastic bottle or 2. Much more convenient than lugging a brazier and pot on long trips. Also, sidenote, chopping down trees depletes your stamina iirc, which in more recent experimentals is good for your long-term health and cardiovascular stamina, so it's worth doing if you have calories to burn. Dunno if that feature made it into the H stable, though. Good job on the episode! There's a mod to simplify Rubik's dialogue if the sci-fi welshman accent gets too annoying as well, lol.

@AreimaYT No problem! I could happily just talk about this game forever, it and all the forks really are something special. Extra tip I forgot to put in the main body: you can use dehydrated meat to make protein powder, iirc, which has an infinite shelf life. That recipe exists for if you really wanna stock up and have infinite protein shakes more than 9 months away, for some unknowable reason. Maybe then you'd actually be able to eat a fully-butchered large Dino before it expired, something I never bother to do, lol.

Dude. You found quite possibly the greatest place for a base near the objective. Plenty of cattails for calories, plenty of meat so long as you let the dinos lay eggs and hatch they will make more dinos. It even has a dock and food preservation gear! Dino Ranch Island Base is official!

I know right? Its basically a dream. Esp with exodii and forge both a safe boating away. Im excited

The damage on the boat is about what the enemies will do to it not you when deconstructing. The superglue issue you are mentioning changed in the latest experimental so not for this series but this will be fixed :) Thanks for the episode.

Ohhh. Good to know. So its like other deconstructs then, with an internal hidden damage chance.
