Dave, i drive a 1967 vw beetle daily, now thats an "Old" car...😊

Yes it is - I've owned over 300 "real" cars in 35 years of driving, sometimes 2 of the same at once, and still the OLDEST for me was a 1972 Datsun 1200 Coupe, lowered and customized with pearl white paint. A really fun little rollerskate.

A couple of years ago I scored the 1977 Thrill Drivers Corkscrew set complete with the 2 Torino Stockers. The cars are very lightly played with. The red one is a solid 9 out of 10. The white one is an 8 out of 10. These are getting hard to find. Keep them videos coming.

WOW the colors are so great on these. Over the years I've had all of those, in very nice shape if not perfect. What is that collection worth these days?? Just those you unwrapped here I mean--

Great collection, Dave I like hearing about your favorite castings. I know, without any doubt, my favs too. That yellow Demon is a highlight for certain. Thanks for the video

Hey. Just wondering where you get your childhood collections from mostly and where is your usual go to spot to buy and sell redlines? I have personally bought for my collection on eBay and Facebook groups but most of the group admins are bully’s despite having a lot of great people as members on the groups. Also do you have your own fb group? Great videos - keep up the good work! 😊

I think you're just seeing the wide variation in factory paint quality 50+ years ago. You might luck into a perfect one but most were not. Same with REAL cars - some had TERRIBLE paint right out the plant door. Now everything is computer controlled from the mixing to the application to the curing, so you get consistency.
