I think shaman is a little further down just due to how many darn buttons they have. The utility is great, but for many players it can be overwhelming compared to Paladin/Hunter/Warrior for example.

I would imagine that the majority of players who pick shaman don’t necessarily min-max their dps. Even just pressing the buttons when they’re off cooldown is very satisfying.

To be honest, it kinda sucks that I’ve been a dedicated Shaman main for several expansions now. It’s nice being in the limelight, but I have this sneaking suspicion that they are going to want to dial back our utility at some point. Other than the theme and visuals, utility is exactly why I love playing Shaman. There’s so many different buttons that I can press to help the group for different situations.

i love the idea of druid but... since i am playing mostly solo and don't really want to play as guardian(tank) this class is not a choice for me as either it is very bad for solo or i am doing something wrong... basically got them all but decided to play hunter + warrior and i feel immortal (tho there are classes like demo lock, pala and DK who can survive anything)

Why does everything have to revolve around M+ and End game content?? That's not all the game is about so why be surprised you're seeing some of the simpler fun classes topping instead of the meta boi of the month??? I know some players that role toons simply to rp. Some just to pvp. It's a big game with something for everyone and the fact warriors made the list has the saltiest crying more salty tears than the water in the dead sea just makes my day.

@ I think you'll find there's more than you realise. Not everyone is into the meta flavour of the month/week. Some folks have put 20 years into their mains and stick with them enjoying the way they play rather than flitting around just to be top whatever for 5 mins. People scoffed at Pandaria but the could do with listening to some of the rpg text/talk from there.

I'm kinda surprised that warrior is on this list because warrior compared to other classes is so brokeass it pretty much brings nothing to the table compared to other classes except damage (if warrior happens to be so buffed) but also I'm not surprised because warrior kinda is simple and new player friendly its just very outdated and utility lacking class which is a reason I stopped playing it and its a shame

I've mained a warrior for 19 years and they have had some right down in the dirt being repeatedly kicked in the balls times but they are a hoot to play and right now are better than ever.
