Honestly doesn't really look like it'd be really fun but I'll probably still try it. Definitely not willing to pay for it though, I hate non-linear stories solely because of the lack of direction they typically have I'd get really bored very quickly... and apart from that it's priced quite high especially if you want all of the story content in the game and apparently multiplayer since it mentions it in the description, gotta love when they make you pay extra for stuff that is already in the game.

I get why you wouldn't be into it, but it has to be said that Stalker is huge. Like it's a seriously long-awaited sequel to a beloved series. Easily one of the biggest upcoming releases.

I get that it's a big deal for fans of the series, but honestly, it's more like one of the biggest upcoming releases in its genre. There are hundreds of thousands of games out there even millions, so not knowing about one, even a popular one is very reasonable. Not everyone's into that genre, so if it's not something you're interested in, you probably won't even see it recommended. Makes perfect sense why they skipped over it; he just didn't know it was such a major release for that community.

I'm looking forward to Dragon Quest 3 on the 14th, the first dragon quest I played was 9 on DS and that got the Vocation/job system from 3, I'm definitely excited to back to a dragon quest with those mechanics. Also have played 6,11, Monster Joker, Monsters Dark Prince, and Builders 2

I honestly never saw much of a connection between them, it's always the Nintendo game fans that see a similar game to their beloved game and give a lot of hate towards it, I find it very strange, there's nothing wrong with taking inspiration from a game especially since the game market is so full, you can rarely make a unique game nowadays, it's all been done.

Genshin depends on it's simultaneous update content across all consoles for new characters/events and story arcs... this doesn't usually work with Nintendo as far as I know. There's always a big delay in pushing out new updates it seems? Though, having said that: Rocket League pulls it off as far as I know. So who knows.

Thanks for at least mentioning a VR game. I think we now have plenty of story driven games that are really great experiences. Even on PSVR2 alone, you can play the RE games, Vertigo, Hubris, the Walking Dead games, and many more. Most content creators shy away from even discussing it because the VAST majority of their audience doesn’t own VR, and a vocal minority of that audience will always say how badly VR sucks, despite not owning a headset.

The only VR experience I've really liked was Half-Life: Alyx all the other games didn't really feel all that great like a fully fledged game experience to me, of course excluding PSVR2 games because it's far too overpriced if you don't already have a PlayStation 5 so I've never tried and will never be able try them.
