For me, BeamNG drift physics is like an asseto corsa, but with a slightly worse FFB, but maybe its only me. And Yeah, i enjoy BeamNG drift more than asseto corsa's :)

Hey Goose, I’m an Assetto modder. I make cars and tracks and put them into the game. Assetto does have damage models but in order to have damage be visible it has to be added into the model. So basically you have to make a clean car and then a crashed version of the car and the crashed version would be the damaged model. The kunos cars have damage models and even some packs have damage models. I also run Assetto Drift League or ADL and our pro pack has damage models. It possible, just a lot of work on the modders end. Great video as always 🙂

Giving Gran Turismo 7 a rating of 9/10 in regards to the drifting put a smile on my face. For it's the only racing game I own out of all of these titles you mentioned in the video. I don't have a wheel though. I used to have the Logitech G29 wheel back in the day when I had a PS4 and used to play Project Cars II, but sold it because I couldn't get it dialed in properly and it became stressful to the point where I'd rather play the game it with the controller instead. However, I've been on the fence as to whether I should buy another wheel (perhaps a different brand all together), and play GT7 with a wheel. The game still feels great to play with the PS5 controller, but I want the game to feel a bit more immersive and I know the wheel would do that for me. It's just that I don't even play the game all that much so an expensive wheel setup just seems like a bit of a waste.

7:10 but I think the tuning parts actually can do something visually, very tiny details like wing angle, but tire pressure camber toe in/out maybe. Actually there are some mods out there those give u options to visually change your car, by switching different car parts, for example the HK51 car pack!

it definitely does something visually to the car. not a lot but it does change how the car looks. this carx bot goose just wants to make his car look pretty and not get good at drifting. yk that’s why he uses the ebrake for 90% of his drifts..

i play the crew 2 for over 4 years and i really like the drift experience on controller with the drift cars, i like how easy it is. Game is a 9/10 because i got bored after a few years (not often played)

I have the crew 2 too and I also recently got gran Turismo 7 and I gotta say, the physics in the crew 2 feels awful when I play it now. I never enjoyed drifting in TC2 especially on drift cars because it's basically done for you. This is just my opinion tho and it's cool if you like it

Would you suggest getting a bundle pack? I can't find any list of stock cars the game has and sadly can't decide which one would be better, pack 3 or 4 . Any thoughts ?? And is it solely online or can you play offline ? I cant much info on the overall of the game

Hey, If you purchased the game you can create your own server public/private but i dont think its truly offline and you will get cars unlocked as you play the game but if you want some cars straight away get what ever pack has your favourite or most liked cars.@@D.I.G.I.T.A.L.

Gta v online as a base gameon controller is surprisingly satisfying to drift on once you put in a bunch of hours tho.. its not for everyone but there is so much customization and like so many cars to drift definitely takes skill and dedication to get into but people make tons of drift maps and you can even design your own! Without mods you can still drift away for hours on end especially with other skilled drivers

Definetly agree with you on beamng, since i have been drifting in assetto corsa for 2 years, trying out drift physics in beamng was hard. Cars felt way too slippery and was so easy to break grip of tires.

If unbound had the wheel support like crew motorfest it would have been much more fun. I played through the story I had a lot of fun, just wish wheels worked better.

You should try driftCE. It’s drift 21 but upgraded and newer. I would love to see it. Keep up the good work.

I don’t know why everyone fanboys over DriftCE/Drift21. I played it and its terrible IMO. Its super lacking in content with too few of cars, engines, parts, and bodykits. Plus the tuning system is weird and confusing, and the physics are absolutely god awful. The only thing DriftCE has that isn’t easily outclassed by CarX is the whole car building thing, which IMO Car Mechanic Simulator 2021 does better. Not to mention, there are bugs in the career mode that erase all your progress. It’s like they used up all their budget on trying to get licensed cars in the game and forgot to use their resources to make sure they actually had ample content. Was not worth $30 at all. I wish Microsoft had accepted my refund request. I’d much rather play CarX which has more content for the same amount of money

My R9 works in FH5, you have to unplug everything but your wheel when you start the game. The plug it back in when your in the game. It's a pain, but it works.

I think drifting in beamNg is great, but it depends a LOT of skill, especially the steering wheel, I couldn't drift, but when I played a lot of Assetto Corsa, I got the hang of it (remember, I play on the steering wheel).

In Beamng, Go into ffb settings, and put side accel to about 15%, then drifting will be way easier

GTA Online will always have a special place in heart, it's pretty complicated if you're trying to get into it, especially when you're only looking into drifting and not interested in the crime stuff but god, the amount of hours I spent drifting on random parking parks is uncountable

Wreckfest is actually a possible to Mod to become a good for Drift. just using simple mods one can feel the potentials. personally spent some time modding Wreckfest cars. Not as easy as Assetto Corsa. but has potentials if Drift modders would get in to modding Wreckfest Some great stuff may happen.

you can try to drift on Rfactor 2, some mod are done for and catheram 7 on karting circuit is very fun. (obviously is not the best game for drifting) and for beamng, we have to wait tyre model upgrade

You just need to spend time tuning in beamng. The brz is the perfect drift car when you put it in drift mode or tc off. Feels very acurate to real life.

Forza horizon feels better with a direct drive. The fanatec csl dd has kind of a fallback mode that allows it to work and it works well. Maybe moza has that?

I would give +0.5 more for games that support VR. For me AC with mods is the best so far. On flat screen I played Horizon5, FiveM, BeamNG and Demo Drift Festival (on Moza D9) and Drift Festival I would give 8 for drifting.
