You actually have to thank the European Union for the switch to USB C in all devices. A USB C connection will be mandatory for all produced phones next year in Europe and for all laptops in a few years. Consoles could have been affected, too. Therefore everyone switched.

Sounds like a reliable set of controllers. My only concern are the joy sticks. I've always hated the feel of Joy Con joy sticks as they are almost impossible to move slightly compared to an Xbox (I'm making this comparison as I have both consoles and the controllers are significantly better on Xbox). This makes it extremely difficult to play PvP and shooter games as you can't make small adjustments nearly as easily. As for my question, are the joy sticks more of like the switch or Xbox?

nah man they work great! works on any switch model - i think the issues you’re thinking about may be if it’s a 3rd party battery/charger they can cause problems these joy pads are great i’ve used them w: my switch everytime since getting them!

I appreciate the video. My original joy-cons are spotty with the gyroscope inputs, and have sporadic drift. I don't want to buy another pair of joy-cons that will end up the same way, so these seem like a good alternative. Have you used these for Switch Sports yet?

thank you homie i appreciate it fr! they’re great controllers, and the gyro is solid! unfortunately you can’t use the NYXI w/ Switch Sports, nintendo wants you to only use real joy-con but i think there are some loopholes to get it to work i just haven’t done it yet

I have those. The D-pad is horrible, same with the vibration. But other than that I used them a lot, pretty cool. However the left stick started to drift today after 3 months of playing. Cleaning it with the VHS head cleaner didn't help. So I ordered the split pad compact instead. A pity, but that taught me - never again order shit from China cause they have no quality control.
