Good to see Nightwish and Eluveitie. NOISE has got to be in my list, purely and simply because it was confirmation that Nightwish were BACK! Most of my 5 would be from "Human :||: Nature", but I have to make room for Holy Roller - it was a cathartic scream we all needed to let out, but Courtney did it for us. And while we're in the Eluveitie neighbourhood, just a heads-up that Fabienne and Jonas's side-project Illumishade release a new single "The Endless Vow (Official Music Video)" on KZbin on New Year's Day @1pm Eastern.

A simple answer would be to call the whole album "one song" and when people say "well It's multiple tracks" you can just say "I thought the first disc was like the 2nd disc".

My top 5 songs are, counting only songs released this year: - Unlucky Morpheus - Unending Sorceress - Snow White Blood - You Belong To Me - Snow White Blood - Falling Stars - Nightwish - Shoemaker - Nightwish - Endlessness More or less in this order! From a quick search, it seems you haven't reacted to any of these so... Nightwish you already know! Those two songs are from the latest album, so they have lyric videos. Unlucky Morpheus is a Japanese band, they describe themselves as "Technical Melodic Speed Metal". I'd add "with a twist" (not spoiling here!). Snow White Blood is a German Symphonic Metal band. The theme of their songs is fairy tales (more like Grimm than Disney). They released their first album this year (they only had an EP before that). "You Belong To Me" is their latest video. "Falling Stars" has no video so far. Please check them out if you can. Finally, I have no pets. :|
