From a mechanics stand point, Niantic saw the push back to Elite Raids (needing 6-8 local players), essentially hit reset on all your pokemon, then made them 4-8 times more difficult. As someone who tries to stay positive and enjoy the game for what it is... throw us a fricken bone Niantic.

@@debrajraha6762 yeah they have a horrible catch rate. I was lucky to get all mine, but when still. Idk why they can’t just have their regular evolution catch rates.

I played in Brisbane City, Aus today and definitely needed around 20-25 minimum for Charizard and Venusaur. Blastoise is tough, needed like 30 minimum people to beat it. Once more people caught some gigantamax pokemon and if they powered them up definitely helped quite a bit. Crazy indeed.

My local group just used 15 accounts to beat a g-max. Right, they used one healer and 3 attackers as one team. Sometimes my Pokémon is very “durable” because of the healer

Just came back after doing a couple of gmax, we had 14 people all with lvl 40 Pokemon or more, with lvl 3 max attack still got destroyed 😂

My group of 10-15 canceled this morning after seeing how many it takes. My only hope for this is that Niantic will see how few max particles they sell and feel the hit in their pockets. They probably could have made some money if the battles were somewhere in the galaxy of normal difficulty. Oh well... if they dont want to adjust the difficulty then maybe this will rush max soup so people actually have counters...

Was able to get 6 raids done today with between 20 & 30 people each time. It helps a lot to have pokemon already at power spots boosting your attack by 4 stages.

We beat Charizard with 9 trainers, we had great Pokemon and were strategically playing. Blastoise and Venusaur were harder and lost

Not just 30+ people. We cant do mindless taping in gigantamax battles like we do in raids. Players need to dodge. And use all the moves like Max spirit and defence to defeat the Boss

I started 2 months ago...and in that time there was more kanto starter pokemons so I collected some candy but now I have no candy to even max charizard , blastoize or venesaur or max moves tf you want me to do ? They put this dumb halloween pokemon rotation where only gastly will be used in gigantamax battles and only for him you can collect candy....overall this feature and rotation of pokemon are horrible

You can beat them pretty easily with at least 30 players. I just kept swiping/dodging to fill up the meter fast and switch to the best Pokémon to dynamax. Need good people though lol

Get all of them (no shiny) and my first Gmax blastoise is Hundo When I raising Gmax Charizard,I see someone use SOBBLE, and Im also see someone use unevolved dynamax Mon, lucky enough we win,almost lose to Gmax Blastoise with 2mon on the lobby remaining This is why you need to doing max raid when they introduce max raid for the first time Also we defeat Gmax venusaur with 37 player

It’s not that hard if you invest in some decent counters. We had no issued taking all three down with 13 trainers. But yes, if you just throw in whatever, it won’t work.

I am not going to be able to do any Gmax Raids at this point. Not enough people in my area, even with Campfire. So stupid that they have to make them this hard. Looks like I am going to have to wait until they fix them and make it easier, or I am just going to have to trade for every Gmax Pokemon. Niantic please fix this asap. Its not fair to those who live in a small town with barely any players

This is so dumb. Like max people and it’s still hard? We’re gonna need like 40 maxed out Pokémon to do it. And they did that and didn’t have it be a raid hour, to maximise the amount of people who’d be in an area at the same time? I hope there’s community backlash so they either make them Easier / more doable cause expecting 40 people to do one raid all with close to maxed out Pokémon is so stupid What sucks more is I wasn’t able to max out any of my moves or levels so my 2000 ish cp Pokémon will hopefully have to work:(

It's not hard with max people if they aren't trolling and using 500cp wooloo, charmander etc.

They're not that hard. Either power to the pokemon to around 2500cp or don't try to do the raids. Not a big deal. No reason to be salty.
