I mean, idk the context but, as another perspective, people can push to know what's happening with you and see if there's anything they can do about it (and so they understand your headspace). However, once you reveal and the other person now understands what more is there to say? Not everyone knows how to comfort or knows the right things to say, they just know they want to look out for you (maybe do more through their actions). This is just another perspective not to do with Ur comment.

I've been watching livestreams where streamers have been actively brainstorming ways they can help struggling viewers or even regularly keeping up with viewers privately who are in certain predicaments like having family members in hospital. This guy just took it and made it the entire focus - all he really had to say was "I'm so sorry to hear that, I hope you're coping as best you can" and then move on.

😮
@sarahr989416 күн бұрын
He didn't really date the woman (Ashley Ellerin) as far as I recall. He actually was taking her on a first date, went to her house and she didn't answer the door. He had been late picking her up so he thought she was ghosting him. He then looked in the window and saw red stains on the carpet but apparently thought she had spilt wine or something. He never went into the house, he just left. He testified in the murder case. She was killed by a serial killer shortly before Ashton showed up (the Hollywood Ripper, Michael Gargiulo). It's such a weird twist of fate that this soon to be extremely famous guy was witness to a crime scene without even knowing. The only fishy thing imho is that he assumed the stained carpet was wine imho.

Like Charlie says, 99% of people on Earth would've just said "oh really? that sucks man, sorry to hear it." Even if they were slightly annoyed that someone had dropped a buzzkill comment in the chat, 99% of people would still say the former. This guy would be some husband. Whatever tiny infraction his wife makes, in his unfiltered manner he would criticize her over and over until she got the point and apologized. The worst part isn't what he says at the start, it's that he argues with her about it for 2-3 minutes. Also, she's a fan of this. Presumably he's pretty important to her. Maybe she answered honestly because she wanted him to make her feel better by giving his condolences.

I'm actually betting on an edible for plane girl. People taking edibles to "get through flights" has become increasingly more common, despite how ridiculously stupid it is. She seems genuinely worried and freaked out during this 'episode' she's having, which kind of reminds me of people's reaction to too much weed or lsd, not too many shots of whiskey or glasses of wine. If she was just drunk, I don't think she would suddenly start to believe there are fake passengers and worry about the plane blowing up, only to genuinely be embarrassed and apologetic in the video afterwards (and if she truly believed in these conspiracies, she wouldn't apologise). Also if she'd had a couple drinks too many, it's not classy but it's legal, so I can't see why she wouldn't say it when it would make her go from nutty to just drunk in everyone's eyes.
@howtodoit119014 күн бұрын
You've obviously never seen someone with mild psycosis or schizophrenia get drunk fast. 1 beer is enough to turn my mother from a completely normal person into someone who thinks all of her family are government clones sent to spy on her. Crazy people go even crazier when they are drunk, and even more so when they are drunk and trapped around complete strangers
