@adequatelyunbearable10 күн бұрын
Right? Like you would think if they really had issues breathing, they’d want to protect themselves from a *respiratory virus* lol. I can understand why it may have been uncomfortable or an inconvenience, but it really wasn’t that big of a deal. And I’d like to argue was actually great during the winter months. At least for those of us who experience the colder winters lol
@conterd2210 күн бұрын
@adequatelyunbearable yessir. You hit the nail on the head. I live in a place where the winters are harsh nd mask were a blessing. I didn't even think it was that uncomfortable. Yeah sometimes I would have to walk away nd take a breather but I was also working in a hot kitchen running around everywhere and training people. Karen's have no grounds. Even if it's as bad as they say then stay home at that point. Not worth the headache.

@Bfd-cf5pq facts I get that. For about a month or 2 in 2022 the hood vent over the stove at work broke nd the kitchen would fill with smoke so even started wearing a m3 painters resporator nd still powered throughit, definitely uncomfortable. I hate saying this, but to make a point: as someone who ACTUALLY was diagnosed social anxiety disorder a long ass time ago and is STILL struggling to come to terms with it, wearing a mask made me feel safer in public. Large spaces really make me anxious, I feel I have to be aware of everything around me at all seconds of the day, and having a mask on made me feel like I had a little bubble in that large space. My space felt more personal (as personal as it could get in public 😅) but that girl makes people who have these issues and really struggle sometimes, definitely makes us look bad. Just like people who are rude in public and when called out "oh I have social anxiety" which is absurd, this honestly makes me way less likely to say something even remotely rude. Especially with how people act now.

To the girl who had "anxiety" and "PTSD" is making everyone who actually have this issues look bad. Same with the people who are rude in public and then when called out "oh I have social anxiety" dude. I hate admitting it but as someone coming to terms with it, I have Social Anxiety Disorder and Im not rude to people I'm public. In fact it makes me more anxious TO BE mean to people. And with the masks, the masks actually made me feel safer. I hate large spaces and having a mask made me feel like I had my own little bubble in that large space. Sadly I lost my favorite mask, but I'd still wear it in public especially at airports, on the plane, sometimes in stores. And if I had a cold I sure as hell would be wearing one.
