I think this one may be a you issue, all of those logos but one are easily understandable. The only one that doesn't "make sense" after 5 seconds of google if you're unfamiliar with the basic concepts involved is the Trailblazers, and I've always seen that as just "cool unique logo" that didn't need any explanation beyond being cool and unique lol

I’ll say it again just like the NHL critic logo: Minnesota Wild - IT’S A BEAR HEAD DAMMIT! All bears have round ears and a large muzzle. The brow line and teeth also suggests it’s a bear due to its skull structure. The background shows the green misty forest with a full moon (the ear) and the North Star as the eye. Bear.

For the Carolina Hurricanes flag logo, I think anyone from the southeast would instantly recognize those flags as hurricane warning flags. But maybe I'm biased as my high school was the Golden Hurricanes. As for the Portland trailblazers logo, that actually looks like a hurricane symbol moreso than the Canes main logo.

UCSB students found the mascot offensive, they called "Gaucho Appropriation" no joke & wanted the name changed to- mapache (Spanish for Racoon) So that was the last logo was dumb.

That Minnesota Wild logo is also facing the wrong way. Left to right, dammit! Trailblazers: "The five white lines and the five black lines…" Nope. There are either 4 or 6 black lines, depending on whether you count the black outline of the logo as lines. Maybe even 8 if you bring in the bottom horizontal outline line and it's slanted mate on the upper left of the white section. And don't even start with the curved parts of all the lines. Now say all that again but upside down for the red part. Canucks: They're Canucks so they don't count. UNLV: Um, what? It's a splotch.
