Hi dude, great to see you get into a few Bonnie’s using yr new rod - Major Craft Crossride. Isn’t it exciting when you get that new golden piece of tackle and use it for the first time! Go well mate, hopefully only just the beginning.

Nice video!!! QQ: the spec of the rod says the jig is 100±20g. How does it feel when casting 60g lure?
@vxtedifishing2 ай бұрын
Thanks very much! 60g lures are very comfortable to cast with this rod. You start to notice the weight when casting 80g, haven’t tested anything heavier yet.
@jianguo82332 ай бұрын
@@vxtedifishing Thanks for the response. Appreciated. I am a beginner in the jigging world. When a rod has spec 30g~120g for jigs, comparing to 80~120g, what’s the main difference in your opinion? Both say Max PE4.
@vxtedifishing2 ай бұрын
@@jianguo8233 No worries! It sounds to me like the rod that has a 80-120g CW is meant for offshore applications, i.e. dropping the jigs vertically off the side of a boat. The 30-120g will be meant for land based fishing and should cast lures a lot further than the other rod will 🤙

How many cameras are you using? And where have you placed it cause it's really in a good position
@vxtedifishing2 ай бұрын
@@RyzKaderx Just the one GoPro 🙂 I’ve got a neck mount rather than the chest mount. I find it gives a better angle and keeps clear of my hand (blocking the shot).

Since you are Australian, you should be able to get JDM things pretty easy??? Is it? Try Gekito Jig Strike, they are pretty good and the paint is OK!
