Good morning Ambitious Anglers, welcome back to another episode, I'm Brody! We are at a new location today! We travel this big long strip of rock which is 1km long! It takes about 30 minutes to cross by foot. I am hoping to pick off a few striped bass on the channel ledge at this point where the lighthouse is! We have gasperaux running in our rivers this time of year in PEI, Canada! Where there is bait, there's got to be stripers right!? Come along with me guys! Hey Alex! Thanks for the comment man! Keep trying and you will! I recommend using Google maps and finding sand flats with channels nearby. Think of those channels as highways for bass to travel and Chase bait. Sometimes they're stacked on Channel ledges. If they're not at the channels, they're probably roaming the flats looking for food. All part of the fun is exploring new areas and finding them!

I've usually had some great success fishing off channels, specifically Cardigan river but have yet to land my first striper this year 😉

Please keep trying! Try going to channel ledges on low tide. A bit easier to find. Also if there is a flat going down into a channel start casting there!

You're the first one to ask bud! Great question. Just extra security for the soft plastic so it doesn't keep sliding off. Works awesome!

@@AmbitiousAngler gotcha! You got me curious to try the Daiwa SP minnows. I just need to find out if it's legal for us to use lures with 2 hooks. I live just outside Shediac NB and follow fishing rules for Striped Bass in Tidal waters

@@MrCrousseau Oh okay! Yeah they work awesome, highly recommend them. I would go with bone, blurple, and yellow pearl. I'm sure many colors would work in different situations though!

@@AmbitiousAngler all good, only concern about this good spot is the trek out, someone gets hurt out there they might block it off from fishing, Its a dangerous spot to get to
