I was in the same restaurant in Brentwood, CA, that Julie Andrews visited, and I can attest the she is very tall. She came by with a large entourage and no small degree of fanfare. In real life, she is herself like a queen!

It's understandable, since Julie Andrews is already well known and well liked for playing the roles of Maria in the Sound of Music and Mary Poppins in Disney's Mary Poppins movie when Julie Andrews was younger than she is now. But having that entourage around you all the time you spend out and about must get very old very quickly.

Anne Hathaway did such an incredible acting job! I've commented on several other KZbin movies about how my late wife and I love actors who can make you forget the actor/actress and all you see is the person they portray, this makes the movie so much more enjoyable.

The this movie and its sequel were some of my favorite movies. Including Julie Andrews mattress surfing down a staircase in the second movie in the, I think the second movie. Hector Elizondo along with Julie Andrews are two of my favorite Hollywood stars. I love Palo’s character outside of him outing Mia.

The title is incorrect and misleading. She was only crowned Queen of Genovia in the second movie (and never in the books). Here she was a crown princess, the granddaughter of Queen Clarisse, Queen Regent of Genovia.

I love her too one of the things that happened is because people want to relate to movie stars and find her unrelatable, it's absurd they are movie stars living in Hollywood I don't want relate, remember she kept getting compared to Jennifer Lawrence when she first came up before she got hated too it JLaw the girl you want to have a beer with, like that would ever happened in real life just delusional people putting someone in a pedestal, Anne is an amazing woman talented beautiful some people resent her for that too at some point it's just hating some one for existing.

It’s funny to look back on this movie because we all love it so much. But to realize that her daddy was a deadbeat, prince and all. Straight deadbeat. OK fine you and your spouse get a divorce but because your life is so hectic, you volunteer to not bother your ex about your child at all. You have no relationship with your child at all. And then you die before you can tell her who you are, what you are and essentially what makes her, her. Then her grandmother wanna come along and pretty much persuade or bombard you with princess lessons, to become their princess because they’re lost without her. Say what??? I still love this movie though. 😂😂😂

No if u remember when her parents divorced her mother told her she hated the Royal life the mother is the one that got custody of her and cut them out of her life her mother was the one that cut the grand parents out of mia life and lied to her about that they were royalty until Mia was 18 but her father died suddenly so they told her sooner

At this point in time in the first movie she wasn't the Queen. She wasn't even sure if she wanted to be a princess. She finally did accept being born a royal and that is why at the end of the first movie she officially accepted being the princess. It wasn't until the end of the second movie that she became the Crowned Queen of Genovia. Get your claims correct and you won't sound so foolish.
