I appreciate how you continue to open my eyes to things of value that I'd normally walk past. Thank you!!!

Thanks for the BOLO’s. I’ve got about 3000 CD’s from the 80’s and 90’s. Hard Rock, Metal, and Grunge. I’m pretty sure I have a Dead live double cd.

Long-boxes were how they originally sold new cd's. They eventually stopped because of the extra waste that went along with it. I thought the cardboard ones were cool. They had the artwork on them close to the actual album covers and I used to display them back in the day

Long boxes were anti theft measure because the record stores only had album storage initially and they had to have a way to stock the cds and they didn’t disappear. Soundtracks are a great bolo because they are usually only pressed once. Japanese cds have a good worth even if the music is something you can get here easily. Also West German cds because they were only a thing for the time period when it was a country. Gold cds are great too they are higher quality as far as the audio and the audiophiles go nuts over them.

I sold that Michael Rabin CD a few years back sealed for $700. If I could attach a photo here I would send the screenshot of the sale.

I can't believe they charged shipping for the grateful dead cds. I sold ticket stubs for $300. Anything GD, especially live CDs sell for lots
