The Bears and, to a lesser extent, Jack usually also lost their turns a lot, but in Tekken 8, they have tools to also be more oppressive to fit the identity of 8. If anything, you could expect Marduk to do the same if not more damage and have newer more oppressive moves in a similar realm of power to his db2 or d4

I think bears should have high damage, they are bears. I don't like this general homogenization of combo damage among a lot of the cast and high damage bad neutral makes a character unique. About the chip as well, I think some characters SHOULD be better at utilizing the mechanic itself, similar to how certain characters have varying levels of drive rushes in SF6. If anything I would say T8's biggest problem for me is character homogenization in general. If the dev team utilized heat to accentuate a defensive characters defense, or a tricky characters gimmicks, the game would be cooler. Edit: I don't play Kuma.

Most common sense comment right here, people are just basically saying , as I feel, Bears aren't legit and assuming people like Rangchu, Nino or SourPiggy are overrated because they play Kuma... it's crazy😅. If people pretend to know how to play this game, then Kuma/Panda shouldn't be a big issue over the community. But some of them are empathizing their chars as if they have no chance against most of the roster , when it's just negated by excessive flowcharting all among the ranks and awful char community elitism...

Another reason bear damage is not okay is cause they can still hit you with the butt attack mid stage. There's literally no where they can't do 60% to you.

But they have no movement, like do you even can play the game without movement 😅? Many moves of his kit can Sidestepped right and while they seem on hitboxes, like even the flowchart ss electric works on the because of the hitboxes. Bears are animals, damages are justified, you can't play like it's nothing just because it's supposed to be tekken😅. Dude is been trash until Tekken 6 but somehow, you always want them down in the tierlist, I bet you had a heart attack and still manage to survive because they have an i15 electric 😅. Regular electric is 11-13 frames😅. Y'all look so childish to complain about their dmg when Drag, King, Jin, Jun and many others can do the same approximate dmgs. Y'all regular has also more chance to put bear players to the the wall if they're fucking up...Bears still got the same issue dealing with high pressure which movement was supposed to be applied when in danger, cannot since the bigger hitbox prevent to get a effective sidestep without being launched, only sidewalk works decently with Bears.
