I LOVE that you get a music swell when your last character comes back into the fray. Braum's music kicking in as he brings you to a come from behind victory is pure chef's kiss. Giving theme music to the player who is behind in order to hype them up is such an amazing feature that idk why more games didn't think of it.

my only non critical complaint so far is that the k.o's lack impact, both visually and from the characters last strike to the opponent. that and not being able to skip intros is bothersome

I agree on that, a final hit effect of some kind would be nice to see. I would also like the victory pose to show both characters instead of just one, especially if there's 2 players on a team. The intros are skippable but every player in the match has to press the button

I find it a little strange that when Braum does that falling door aerial attacking it does a massive impact slam if it hits an enemy, but if it hits nothing he just lightly bounces off the ground like it was a trampoline.

Funnily enough, whole highlight and Max never used "Stand behind Braum" special (one where he holds the door, don't remember which one + back). Combos were still great. Just need to utilize the rest of Braum's kit more and learn to parry.

this game looks insanely balanced. I think it will be a better pad game than a stick. same with HxH. Even Justin wong agrees that is the case for hxh. and I think that is the main emphasis when making this because 99% of people don't have sticks. especially with 7 button fighting games now, sticks will become more and more niche and unused. kind of like a car with a stick. it's"pure" but its technically worse than the amazing auto trans of today.

Combos might be a bit too long. Marvel 3 is one of my all time favorites, but I've grown a bit tired of games that let you reach for popcorn every time someone touches you. That coupled with the absurd screen shake on each hit makes me nervous about this game.
