Marss is kind of based for this ngl. I think clips are only cool if you freestyle and don't just rehearse the same combo because with combos it's just "Cool combo, bro." but with freestyling in neutral it's "Oh dang, that read was insane!" there's definitely a difference there I've tried doing combo clips myself and I usually am disappointed looking back at those clips. Also idk sometimes having a bad opponent that just mashes again you already know they might ruin the clip by not teching or something.

I really like what marss said regarding about several of these clips. These clips are meant to be entertaining and engage the audience, but practicing the same combo just for clip is way too one-sided at many times. Players should strive to maintain transparency so they aren't being called a "masher" or a "spammer".

No one’s claiming that these clips are on the best players ever and that’s why they’re impressive. It’s like in the nba when players get a 50 point or 60 point game, they’re always against teams with bad defense. Doesn’t make it not impressive. I think marss just needs to take it less serious, but smash players are very holier than thou so it’s nothing unusual.
