If a combo is "too fake" it means the opponent is just a shitter that keeps spamming a dumb mistake If a combo is "too true" it means that's just par for the course A truly schmexy combo must have the right balance of reads and technical skill

the issue with the "fake" combos is most of them only worked because the opponent was really bad and had no idea how to avoid it. a really saucy fake string is one with actually good reads and mix ups. If its just a combo where the opponent let themselves get hit by 3 fairs in a row and killed of the side, its not really that cool. Anybody can do that to a bad player.
