Hallar, the Firefletcher is incredibly underrated. It looks like a derpy 3/3 for 3, a lot of spells with Kicker suck, and Hallar deals damage equal to +1/+1 counters and not power, but the table dies fast.

I’d imagine combining only the useful kicker spells with lots of counters gets scary!

I had a Hallar deck, and yeah spending your entire turn casting and kicking a spell that has almost no impact while the rest of the table are double, triple-spelling led to its downfall. It's a cool commander, but just really need better support.

Scion isn’t underrated, people just want to still have friends so they moved to the Ur-dragon. Also Scion plays the same game every time because it’s a tutor.

I built Nine-Fingers Keene a long time ago and she just won a lot of games in a very dull fashion. She has this inevitability that if you let the game go, she'll assemble enough gates and that's the game. It was very anticlimactic, linear, and not very interesting. I took her apart after a little while because she ended up being incredibly dull to play after a couple times.

I play Yargle and Multani in Jund (Slimefoot and Squee), and like to use instant speed cards like Phyrric Blast and Fling to hit creatures with Y&G. Then, Slimefoot and Squee brings them back from the grave for more!

Frodo and Sam I've just never seen do ANYTHING that any other deck couldn't have done better. Sure, Sam is getting you cheap food cracks and Frodo does some tempting, but tempting Frodo just always felt so, so very unimpactful.

I tried really hard to make Chun-Li/Zethi work and she just didn't. The poison approach seems effective, although it's not a route I'd personally take. The issue with her is that instants on their own don't do that much, so sure, you get to cast a removal spell every turn, but is the table just going to let you target their stuff turn after turn after turn without reprisal? So then you're spending your spells to keep Zethi alive and still, your payoff is....your opponent's things are removed. That doesn't win and with all your mana going to the Chun-Li engine, you have little else. The games where I got Monastary Mentor out where the ones I won with Chun-Li but there's not enough effects like that in white/blue. Narset from MOM fixes the issue entirely by giving you red and access to burn spells as well as a way to make your creatures better.

My disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined. Magus Lucea Kane, once again, sees no love as a “Stronger Than You Think” commander. Anytime I play her she always flies under the radar. Great video on some other commanders though!

This list is completely wrong, Hazezon (both versions) and Yargle & Multani aren't threats, you definitely should just leave them alone to play in the sandbox and/or doomsday.
