11:59 this family photo has a backstory already, there was a video from inside edition about it interviewing the family but it got removed, to summarize the family hired a photographer to take this photo and the family requested the photographer to edit the photo and remove the shadows so their faces are more visible, the photographer took it too literally and removed the shadows and now it looks cursed, the family in the interview just laughed when they saw the photos and said they look like legos

The Barney costume, I think the "eyes" are actually meant to be nostrils. I could be wrong, but they're more in the position to be nostrils than eyes. Barney's head is slightly tilted back so the eyes probably aren't visible.

I like this theory and I think I even see two subtle bumps on his head. Possibly his eyes. However, I do want to point out that official pictures of Barney don't seem to have nostrils. He has little dimple-like nostrils, but it's barely noticeable and wouldn't show up in that image. So if those dark beady eyes are nostrils, we're probably looking at a badly made homemade costume.

For those curious what she was trying to explain on the "the portal is opening" photo. This happens when the shutter of the camera exceeds the sync speed of the flash. Most of the time the out of sync area will be pure black but in this case the SS was barely faster and worked out quite well in making a cool image.

@@Cyfrik if you want to know what the challenge is from what I remember I think it was meant to be some kind of 'meme' where people would call others and pretend to be momo saying that if you don't do the challenge they'll 'curse you and your whole family.' The actual challenge was essentially just them making you do increasingly dangerous things until you reached the last thing which was to kill yourself. And unfortunately I'm pretty sure some people actually fell for it and did the challenge as i think it even got a thing on the news warning people not to do it (at least in Sydney, Australia idk about anywhere else)

You mentioned with the teletubbie characters that there was no way they weren’t meant to be creepy. My mom was a professional clown my whole life. We saw a lot of people make their own character costumes to make easy money. They pretty much alway looked like future therapy discussions. Mostly because they didn’t really know what they were doing. They would commonly visit kids in local hospitals for free for publicity. I have a bunch of pics I saved of crappy costume characters that my friends and I would laugh at. The best one I have is a Buzz Lighthear with a thousand yard stare. We would joke that he would whisper a generic catchphrase of “To forever, and keep going.” So I don’t see the costumes and purposely scary. Just a local person trying to make easy money, and doing hospital visits as a way to build their business.

While I'd love to see more of this sort of thing, I feel like it'd be difficult to sustain unless you could reasonably get a hold of the posters of most of the images featured in order to explain them, because it's a bit of a let down when you build up an image only to reveal that you can't get any more info about it because OP won't talk to you or you can't reach them at all.

He obviously wouldn't make a video unless he had something worthy to say. If a bunch of people never responded those ones would be cut from the video & hed use the ones he was able to find stuff on, only showing a no reply one if it was particularly interesting

for the barney costume, I am 90% sure that the dead eyes are supposed to be barney's nostrils, maybe his eyes are hidden because of the angle of the camera.

3:42 The Barney costume seems to be a bad angle, as the dead black eyes might actually just be the nose holes. The head seems to be tilted up, and by looking at the left side of the head, you could kindof see some white. It’s definitely homemade judging by the quality. Still a great cursed image, but once you see it it’s almost more funny than cursed with how big the nose is
