i think cozzy hit the nail with the morbius mistique combo, on 5 with a 5-6 card hand modok and swarm u get around 10 power on each + 8 for modok + 4 from swarm and 9 from chavez, thats 40+ power to distribute

I just played 3 Hazmats and 4 She-Hulks on one turn with that Toxic Rain deck. I played Zabu on turn 3, then the shuffle your hand into your deck and draw 3 loc went off and I drew Wong, Moon Girl, Hazmat, and She-Hulk. (Titan was also active so the She-Hulks cost 0)

Spiderman and absorbing man is 2 free cubes if you snap before that turn. 2 free cubes if 2 free cubes, it's probably 99% a win. That's 2 cubes you get on top of what you can get in games you don't do it. I find 2 guaranteed cubes a lot better than going to the end and maybe losing. A ton of games you spiderman + absorb you could have perhaps lost, so it turned a possible loss into a win.

Titania was my very first pool 4 unlock from the Reserves. I immediately put her into my Sera Miracle Discard deck where she fits very nicely. The whole point is to lay as many cards on turn 6 as possible so I have the best chance of her not switching over. She has lost me a few games (as is expected) but her place has been earned for sure.

I think Strong Guy benefits a ton from MODOK have something like a Turn 3 Zabu Turn 4 Strong Guy and Absorbing Man Turn 5 MODOK Turn 6 Chavez

My first thought when I saw MODOK wasn't Hela actually, it was Dracula + Apocalypse. My problem with Hela decks is that they are just as easy to shut down as destroy decks. Nothing screams "COSMO ME BRO" than having a Bucky, Nova and Hood sitting on a location, or an Invisible Woman and two hidden cards sitting on the board while playing a discard deck. I'd rather have Dracula on the board with Swarm, Apocalypse and MODOK in my hand. That's an easy 20+ power on the last turn depending on what your last card draw is.

That's evil, I like it XD I feel like we've only started to scratch the surface of what Absorbing Man can do, it's just that the current stuff he does in the meta is so strong, we haven't really dived into other uses. I don't play discard often, and I don't actually see it being played that often either, and when it is played its usually Dracula and Apocalypse, but not Hela. So I don't really have that much experience with that archetype. But I thought of something that could be quite powerful (maybe). It does seem like the stars need to align for it to happen though. Turn 2, play Invisible Woman. Turn 3, play Wave into a different location. Turn 4, play Hela into Invisible Woman. Turn 5, skip. Turn 6, MODOK and She-Hulk. And then have a bunch of huge cards in your deck to be discarded, to then be brought back by Hela at the end of the game.

I love the idea of a Meta Snapshot being played in Battle Mode. You and your fellow co-conspirator pick meta decks, or one of you picks a meta deck and the other player crafts a unique brew. The first game in Battlemode would mimic blindly entering queue without knowing what your opponent is running (leading to instructional moments for piloting a deck and adapting to a certain meta deck midgame), and the following games would be instructional on preparation and executing based on an assumed meta (like, if I queue up a deck to specifically counter Silver Surfer, I'll assume on T1 that all of my opponents are SS decks).

I'm gonna say it -- I don't think Surfer needs a nerf. Post Leader nerf, you can play significantly greedier stuff like the Magik/She Hulk/Infinaut combo in a Zabu deck with Shang/Cosmo, and it feels kind of unstoppable in the meta. I've gone like 10-1 with that deck and climbed faster than I did with any Surfer deck.

MODOK does look interesting but very limited in playstyle. I would like to see future battlepass cards have a bit more plug and play use, but with a bit more balance power wise. Still not tried the battlemode yet, but the way it's incorporated makes me think we could be seeing some more play variations coming in the future, similar to Hearthstone and Legends of Runeterra perhaps. Be interested to see what they come up with.

When Alexander said that Hell Cow discards 2 UNIQUE cards, can you clarify what he meant? At about 12:10 or so.

He means it doesn't play out the discard and then play out a second discard after the first has resolved, instead it chooses both targets from the cards currently in your hand i.e. it's impossible for Hell Cow to discard the same Apoc twice, or for it to discard a swarm and then discard one of the swarms that comes back to replace it. Sometimes this is a blessing, sometimes it would be nice if it could hit Apoc twice lol.

The biggest downside is a lot of surfer decks run Storm, and if they get wind of what you're doing, they might kill Limbo on 6 before your big play - if a Surfer player snaps after you play Magik and they've not played Storm yet, expect the worst and act accordingly!

Maybe wait until after the zabu nerf later in the week before you decide? If they break the zabu, rockslide, darkhawk combo you might not think it's worth 6k anymore (darkhawk without a way to cheaply add cards to their deck is basically a less powerful Devil Dino, and you already have one of those). Shuri on the other hand works fine without Zabu (although Zabu does make her even better).

Thanks man I appreciate it!! Hood Bucky Barnes Carnage Wolverine Cosmo Killmonger Wave Deathlock Moon Girl She-Hulk Magneto Death This deck was really strong with Plunder Castle. Wolverine+Deathlock is crazy if Wolverine lands on Castle. My goal is always 2 destroys with Death so I could play her with Magneto. I treat She-Hulk as a second Death for redundancy. Hit the high roll of 2 Death, She-Hulk, Magneto one time. With Wave on 5, none one would be able to play castle so it would become a 2 lane game. This was extremely powerful because most decks would be clogged without their final t6 whatever on castle. I would usually drop Shulk/Death on one lane and Magneto on the other. I would try to get priority on t6 so I could Magneto/Cosmo on a lane I expected Zola/Odin (I won several 8 cubers because Magneto pulled an opponent’s Cosmo). I also love dropping Cosmo on a lane I expect Shang-Chi to drop. A lot of people snap on Shang so it’s an easy read.

I think modok feels really underwhelming. Yes 8 power is great. But wich synergy does he has right now? Apocalypse? He already has support. Hela doesn't make sense, you either draw her by luck on turn 6 or she doesn't make any sense. I really can't find a home for modok, but the concept is cool.

Morbius > Mystique for 4 power on everybody discard. Dracula to help guarantee he hits Apocalypse or even Chavez. Swarm and Wolverine could help big time. Plus Strong Guy since you'll have an empty hand as long as you play your last card.

I also recently pulled she hulk. I played some games with the magik infinaut she hulk deck and it’s pretty good. I personally like playing an electro destroyer death wave taskmaster she hulk deck more than the infinaut one.
